I have had back pain for several years. I have followed stretching routines, resistance training and staying active. This has given some relief, but I wanted better.I read about the lumbar traction devices and decided to try.I followed the instructions carefully, waiting a few minutes before getting up, and rolling to side. I definitely see the benefits of doing so.During and immediately after, there is discomfort. But a few minutes after getting up and moving about, it was good. No pain for several hours. I am using this twice a day.I have only had the device for a week, and have seen improvement. I am hopeful after a few more weeks the improvements will continue.I have not used the EMS yet. Great device for people with back issues. My mother has had lower back issues for over 10 years or so. She went to doctors & chiropractor but still had pain and she refused to take strong medication. Decided to give this a try snd my mom has been using it and she says it helped alleviate her pain. It seemed to have took pressure off her nerves and stretched out her back. It is amazing

I’ve been using this device for over two weeks now, and it’s been an interesting experience. It has helped with my pain, but placement is key—you’ll definitely feel it if it’s not positioned correctly. I do think the instructions could be improved, especially with more guidance on proper placement and whether there are other ways to use it.I’ve been using the standard vibration mode, and it works well. I really like the addition of infrared; it makes my back feel great.

I gave this a one for this reason. There are several contraindications to the use of this device which you only learn about after your receive it and read the pamphlet that comes with it. It is contraindicated for spinal stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, and few other conditions. When I read this, I packed it up and sent it back not wanting to risk exacerbating my wife's spondylolisthesis and causing more harm than good. These contraindications need to be spelled out on the web site before people purchase it.

Read a review saying the TENS was "weak". I almost did not purchase this item because of that review. I find the TENS/Stim to be the closest 'home device' to a professional clinic TENS/STIM, like you find at a Chiropractor's Clinic. I have tried a few just "TENS/Stim" devices and they all are terrible --- if comparing to a professional grade unit. If I have a negative comment --- I find the "traction" device (air infiltration) to be the weak link here. Just too slow and not a large enough range of motion. Was hoping for a "continual and steady" up and down motion. HEAT works great. TENS/STIM very good. Not clinic quality .... but close enough to be beneficial.

Does everything it says and then some. Wife has sciatica and she uses every function on this thing. It has definitely helped her get out of bed in the mornings!
