I have been happy with this case, I was drawn to it by the low price point, and liked the idea of the translucent material on the back of the iPad so that the Apple can be seen and the case does not "cover" all of the design detail of the iPad which is part of the point to having an iPad. The front cover is excellent with good "felty" screen protection and a suitable magnet for wake/sleep functions - works like a charm. I also purchased this case for when I purchase the Apple Pencil gen 1, this case has a handy slot just to the left of screen, and I can see that being a great feature for Pencil storage when I get that. I would recommend this case for most uses other than "ruggedized" needs.

This is by far the best case of this type (and I ordered many to compare.) Other brands that advertised a strong magnet actually had a weak magnet that took effort to connect, or the screen cover would detach the moment you picked it up from standing position. Not this case.The magnet is strong, satisfying, and works consistently. The leather material is nice, and the frosted back has a pleasing texture to it and it resists fingerprints.It's by no means a heavy duty case, and I'm not sure how drop-protective it is, but certainly a good, ACTUALLY LIGHTWEIGHT choice with a functional magnet for daily use.Plus I love not worrying about losing my pencil... just pop it in every time.

The case is nice and seems pretty protective. The material is a clear vinyl like plastic, with a slight rubber texture which allows for grip and bump protection. The pencil holder portion holds the Apple pencil very well, in fact so well, it is somewhat difficult to remove. I guess it's better than losing an almost $100 Apple pencil. Overall I like the case and would recommend it.

This is a cheap case and its better than the price you pay. There's a slot for the pencil but you can't use a cap holder. The case is relatively thin. The cover is built in and also acts as the stand. I like this case enough to keep it (This is my 3rd cheap case).

The cover fits and quality is fine for the price! Thinking of buying less from Amazon as they left the package on the ground when they said they left it in the mailbox! No snow in the driveway, 200 ft from my house anyone could take it, seems to be happening a lot!

Easy to remove but secure in cases of drops (as I have done several times). Holds the pen really secure but still easy to remove. The “hinge” is still going strong. No wear at all and I open/close it dozens of times a day.I would repurchase in a heartbeat.

Provides needed protection for my new iPad 5. Like using back to prop up screen for preferred viewing. I don't have stylus pen yet but pen slot is built into case. Also like back being clear so it shows apple icon - nice touch! Highly recommend this case.
