Overall Impression - The printer comes with a case that contains all the included accessories: USB-A data and charging cable, USB-C adapter, and three continuous thermal paper rolls (53, 80, and 110 mm widths). A Letter paper roll is pre-loaded. - It also supports A4 paper rolls, single sheets of Letter and A4 thermal paper, and continuous thermal label rolls. Pre-cut label rolls are not supported. - A single touch button controls the printer: long press to turn it on and off, double press to print out technical info and a QR code to help pair with the mobile app. Single-sheet paper is auto-fed when inserted through the rear slot. Manual paper feeding is unavailable. - Paper size is selectable in the mobile app or PC Print dialog. Replacing the paper with a different size requires adjusting the paper holders in the printer paper compartment. Letter and A4 differ slightly in width, so it's important to position the holders correctly. - For Letter or A4 sizes, the printer outputs the full paper length regardless of the printed content. For other sizes, output length matches the printed content length. - The 110 mm paper roll can be used to print 4" x 6" shipping labels. The smaller paper rolls are useful for sticky notes. - The printer is compact and rechargeable. A 5V 2A USB-A power supply adapter should be used. A PD USB-C charger didn't work for me. Using the Mobile App - Pairing the printer with the mobile app via Bluetooth is straightforward. Just follow the in-app setup instructions. Once paired, you can select the paper size, which should match what is currently in the printer. Auto paper size detection is not supported. - The app supports printing pictures and documents by either opening them within the app or sharing them from other apps. Editing, resizing and layout adjustment are available. - Depending on the paper size, the Home tab prioritizes printing of documents for Letter and A4, and printing of images and notes for smaller sizes. Additional features include image and document scanning with OCR using the phone's camera, creating notes using templates or from scratch with text and graphics from the in-app graphics gallery, printing websites and banners. Created notes can be saved to the phone. - While some advanced features, such as AI-assisted document and picture editing, and premium graphics, require a subscription, the app is fully functional for most applications without the need for a subscription. Using with PC - The printer can be connected to a PC using a USB-A port or with a USB-C to A hub. Direct connection via a USB-C to C cable or the supplied USB-C adapter didn't work for me. Once connected, it's important to follow the Quick Start Guide instructions to install the printer driver. - Once set up, you can print pictures and documents as you normally do by selecting Print (Ctrl+P) from the menu of your program. The Print dialog opens where paper size and other printing options can be chosen.

From unboxing to first print, it took me less than 5 minutes to get it running. I printed a copy of my resume and the print quality was superb. The fonts and text was crisp and clear.

Small and lightweight, and good print quality, that requires no ink. If you're someone like me who rarely prints, but the cost of ink is hard to justify. Then this printer is for you. Does not print color, so its primarily for documents, receipts, etc. Easy Bluetooth setup with PC and Phone. Low noise, just a gentle hum of the motor feeding the paper. The functionality is pretty much the same as any other printer for the computer, however a phone requires an app for simple setup. The only negative is the paper that comes with it. Smaller rolls of paper could be considered a "roll". Letter size paper 8.5" the roll was about half the thickness as the others. With that being said, you might want to buy some thermal paper while you're at it.

I've got my eyes on this thermal printer for a while. Glad I bought it. The machine looks cute and the size is great for small space. Plus point when the machine comes with a case and 4 paper rolls with different size so I can test and see the printing quality. Like other Phonemo thermal printer, the printing looks great. It should be suitable to print something emergency and doesn't need to last for too long, maybe a few years. The battery lasts pretty long. Some of the suggestions I may have is the cuting quality. With big paper sometimes it's hard to cut the paper after printing and there may be mistakes. Paper is quite thin and hard to straighten out. I wish there are more types of paper and the paper can be a bit thicker. Also if there's an option to print on straight paper it would be great. The price is ok, bit expensive though

The connectivity is fast, just nake sure you put it to charge before using it for the first time as doesn't connect if charge is very low. The printing quality is good as expected in the thermal paper included, in thermal sticker paper and in tattoo transfer paper. It has been with me a few months and still works, love the carrying case as it makes easy to travel with and keeping it protected, got it with discount but i am sure even paying full price is worth the money for the machine itself and thermal paper and case are a plus

I would knock off another star but I am not allowed to for some unknown reason. As you can see by the below review, I had to contact the company for help. I went through amazon, I called, and I emailed and it took several attempts to get a response. Since then, the company has continued to email me directly, text me, and even used what’s app, which is something I almost never use but have it for the one out of country friend I have. This to me is invasive and annoying. I wish I had simply returned the product and went with another brand. Updating this review after a week as I have finally got through to the company and found the issue. The battery is completely dead and will not hold a charge. I tried 3 times over 3 days to charge it using multiple wall outlets and 3 different 5v =2a charging blocks. Firmware is up to date. App tells me battery is low and shuts off. After sending another email and making another call, I did hear back from a rep! After troubleshooting, the issue was with the usb to usb-c adaptor that was included with the power cord. It was the weak link. Using a usb block or the usb port on a computer (lucky we had a computer old enough to still have one) the printer charged no problem. Have not heard back from the company so that is another major concern. No live chat available they want to respond by email. Did hear back from the company but after several attempts. Bought it in part for wireless feature and that is gone. Can’t really use plugged in without ridiculous shenanigans—have app open, press power button on device and connect in the app at the same time and then hit print for your document standing by…not an acceptable option for a new product. Before it needed charging, I printed maybe 2 dozen at most mailing labels. A few times the printer lost connection to the app mid print and so just stopped, requiring me to re print the label. In addition to this waste of paper, it uses WAY more paper than it should for the label. Changing settings doesn’t fix this. It’s my first printer of this type so I don’t know if these complaints are just typical for the product or not. I want to love this due to it’s portability and cute and compact case it rides in, but the concerns—that there is slim troubleshooting information available and it is hard to reach support, AND that the printer connection drop mid print too often loses stars for me. I cannot fault on the wasted paper because I haven’t tried every possible setting to see if I can adjust the excess paper issue.

I rated this printer 4/5 stars. The print quality is great, and the app is easy to use, though some features require payment to unlock. The printer has a bit of weight to it, but it feels sturdy and well-built. The printing speed is decent, but if you like very fast printing, this might not be for you. It’s a little loud, but since I’m using it for wood burning, the noise doesn’t bother me. The thermal paper isn’t recyclable, which is a downside, but it’s still better than throwing away ink cartridges. The color quality is great and not faded. The included case is solid, and I love that you can adjust the paper clips inside to fit smaller rolls. Overall, I definitely recommend this product for the value you get for the price and it functions very nicely.
