Utter rubbish. This is basically a bottle of ground up rust and is not iron filings. Anything that this stuff touches is left with a brown stain. Also, as noted in other reviews, the particle size varies widely. If you want iron filings to demo magnetic fields, avoid this product.

Slightly Disappointed
A bit disappointed that, although you get a lot for your money, the filings vary in size so there's a lot of iron dust, the size of talcum, which doesn't work well demonstrating a magnetic field.
