After trying and returning several raised seats, this one is excellent and a keeper. It was easy to put together, without tools, and the instructions are clear. It comes with a choice of two kinds of feet; suction and hard cap. We are using the hard cap, and it still stays put, until we actually move it. The whole thing slides right over and against the underside of the raised toilet seat, and is easily moved. Nothing to attach or screw directly to the toilet. It is easily holding a 250 LB person at our house. The arms widen enough to fit a large person and are sturdy enough that they easily give support to hang on to for sitting down or standing up. We have a very small bathroom, with tub and sink each about 4-5 inches away on either side of the toilet, so the adjustability for the arm width lets it fit well. The only thing you might find lacking if you are short and adjust the legs for that, is that the soft seat itself is not raised by more than about two inches, but it works for us.

I didn't think there would be a huge difference from just our normal toilet seat -- but the extra couple of inches higher & especially the side rails has made my life so much easier!I have had extensive back surgery & then a broken knee, this has been a life-saver. I don't need anyoneto help me anymore!

The Takuyada Width & Height Adjustable Raised Toilet Seat with Handles is designed with a frame that has an opening in the front crossbar which coincides with the seat front open area. No tools are needed to put the Takuyada Raised Toilet Seat together and two extra clips are included. Two different sets of feet for the legs which are a thick rubber are provided—the set that is wide suction cup screws into the star nut inside the bottom of the legs, the other set has metal disc molded in for reinforcement for it as chair feet (so the leg tube does not cut through it). The frame is painted grey and the coating seems hard enough although one area of the frame was scuffed a bit. The Takuyada Raised Toilet Seat adjusts for width (about 24” to 27”) and height (18.5” to 24.5”) as needed. The depth of the toilet seat frame is 14” with the seat (seam sealed in vinyl with solid base) about 16” by 16” in size. The frame seems pretty stable when the width is extended to the 27” and this may because the ends of the arms pieces slide into the center seat frame part almost 3”. However, I would be somewhat cautious using this at the fullest height because there is some wobble in the legs where the tubes connect together. The frame relies on the shape of the arm rests and there are no crossbars at the lower leg sections which could add more strength and stability. This Takuyada Raised Toilet Seat comes with a commode bowl and lid and the center part frame part has the brackets already installed. The commode bowl is a good size and collapses for storage as needed. The seat has clips at the rear crossbar so it does raise up—the commode bowl sits on the brackets from the top so it is secure and does not slide around. The Takuyada Raised Toilet Seat can easily be used in a toilet setup without the commode bowl.
