Lovely traditional game
Excellently produced game. It looks elegant and we've had great fun playing it. We use a small wooden pot to keep the balls in when playing and have a small magnet for picking up the balls at the end of the game. Just wish I could beat my wife's top score!

Bagetelle, FUN and Easy to play
I am very pleased with the bagatelle,it is very well made, the only problem was the balls sent with it were too small and kept getting caught in the mechanism. However I phoned Sam at Jaques and explained and she immediatley arranged for some larger balls to be dispatched. Problem solved! As usual amazon delivery brilliant.

Beautiful board, shame about the trigger
This is a beautifully made product; lovely quality. However there is one major problem which the entire family finds irritating and that is the ball delivery and spring loaded trigger. The balls are tiny and constantly get stuck behind the trigger which necessitates a pencil to remove them. This is a huge shame as we have always had a bagatelle board in our family and have never come across this before. Such a shame as we get annoyed and give up playing.

quality game
Havn't played with it yet, expecting company this Sunday,so out it will come, on examination it is well made,looksvery nice on our new table, not the largest size bagatelle, but very handy in size (easy to store) it's a fun thingmade of good old natural wood, a nice change from the colourful plastic cheapies.

Delighted with this.
Reminds us of childhood games. Family all love to challenge each other. A good alternative to pool or table football.

First appearances can be deceptive
Returned the bagatelle after first use. It was faulty as the balls would not roll into the channel to be shot out. There was an inbuilt obstruction causing this and the plunger was wobbly and did not shoot straight. All very disappointing as externally itlooks a well built item.

Great quality and nails not wooden dowels.
Can’t wait to play this with my kids at Christmas. I looked around and found some that used dowels instead of nails but I wanted the same as I played growing up. The sound of hitting the metal nails is part of the game! My granny and grandad had one that we played all time growing up. It’s beautifully made. Very happy.

Delivered on time ,nice finish on wood looks good only negative is the ball bearings don't load very well find it better to put them in manually otherwise very pleased with it,
