Will the battery on my chainsaw work with other Cat 60V Outdoor Power Equipment products?

The battery used with the chainsaw is compatible with all products that are part of the Cat 60V Outdoor Power Equipment platform.

What type of oil can I use in the reservoir to lubricate the bar and chain?

Any typical bar and chain oil will provide sufficient lubrication. In sensitive areas, such as orchards or vineyards, canola oil may be substituted for standard bar oil. Do not use “used” motor oil.

Why is my chainsaw cutting much slower than usual?

Chains will dull rapidly after contacting soil. Sharpen chain or replace and always avoid contact with the ground during operation. IMPORTANT: Always remove the battery and wear gloves when working with the bar and chain.
