Watch what you buy, please, as not as advertised.
I ordered huge bag of Charlie Chinchilla food for “chinchillas”’only. Or so I thought! I had purchased before and had no problems. This time the bag was delivered opened at the top corner and sliced open all down the front of the bag, food escaping everywhere.The worst part is that it is Not for “chinchillas” as advertised! It is in fact some odd concoction for different breeds of animals!!!!! Unacceptable. It was only when I saw the chins chucking it out of the bowl and refusing to eat it that I discover this abomination. Be sure to check what you buy. Nearly £30 wasted, as they hate it. It clearly is substandard as they usually love the “real” Charlie chinchilla food, which is suited to their specific “exotic” dietary needs. What a disappointment I feel cheated.

Not a varied diet
In terms of price you can’t fault it. However since it’s pellets with bits added in, my chinchillas only eat the added in bits. The pellets themselves which are the most important bits for them to eat they refuse to touch. Unfortunately you get so much of it that your stuck trying to get rid of it!
