I could approach this one of two ways: I could say that in order to review it I ought to open the entire thing in one go. But that would be wasteful, wouldn't it. The other thing to do would be to wait until it has been opened and then write something. But as a Vine reviewer I need to be quicker than that, and to be fair to the manufacturer a review after Xmas is useless.So I'm basing this five star review on two things. Number one, the contents are listed, and they do look like something that my granddaughter is going to enjoy getting every day. Number two, although the packaging is basic, the price is cheap. And that's what is going to swing it for most people.In recent years there has been a shift away from the traditional chocolate advent calendar costing a couple of pounds. First it was to a more deluxe version costing a fiver or more, and now we're seeing ever more costly specialist calendars containing everything from socks to beer, priced at... well, the sky seems to be the limit.So yes, this might not match the quality of some of those luxury items, but for what it costs I don't think you can go wrong. Although as adults we would class a lot of this as tat, my niece is so over the moon with this advent calendar and that’s all that matters! Is a bit pricey but worth it for the smiles each day.
