My 10 year old loves this!! His water bottle kept leaking in his backpack all over his school things so we tried this. Lightweight, sturdy strap, good solid lid. Zipper cover comes right off for cleaning. The chain attached to the top broke immediately, but we used safety pins instead and it is perfect!

You'd think it would be difficult to mess up a time tested design as a canteen, but more often than not people fail at making a good one. This is not the case. The craftsmanship is great, inner lining is solid and light colored for ease of spotting things inside via contrast, cap fits snug and is on a little metal chain so you don't lose it, and the whole thing fits the carrying case nice and snug.

Lightweight, was a little disappointed that the actual metal bottle was dented when I removed the cover, but does not affect function. Delivery was prompt.

5 stars--Excellent quality. Ordered in blue, green and red for 7 yr. old twin grandsons who are cub scouts and 4 yr. old little brother. They love to hike and ride their bikes with family and they also spend a lot of time in their tree house; I'm sure the boys will use these canteens all the time on their outdoor adventures.

There inside coating . I'm guess to keep water cold ? The Canteen is very attractive looking.. but when I took the canteen out from the sleeve the bottom on each side is dented .. is this normal to have the dents or is this defective ? BTW .. is this Canteen top dishwasher safe ? Can I use dishwasher soap to clean the inside of this canteen ?Can I use other Liquids but water in this canteen ? or is this design just for water?

Appears well built and should last a long time. Inside is clean and free of defects. It's made in Spain which is really cool !

First, the vendor did not send the selected color. I selected a Royal Blue (as primarily pictured) but received a baby blue neoprene case. Turns out, that case soils rather fast, especially in the hands of a 9 year old Cub Scout. Secondly, within the first day of use, the cheap chain holding the cap broke at the point of the chain link. I had to open the connecting ring at the base & clamp it shut. I gave it 2 stars because the aluminum can is nice & the case performs well but I will be returning it due to not getting the product purchased & the cheap elements of the cap chain.

This great little canteen was for my Cub Scout's first weekend camping trip. It stood the test of trekking through the woods and being battered by bushes, tree limbs, and other outdoor obstacles. It also kept his water cold for the entire day and the best thing is that he can't lose the lid since it is attached by a chain!

Viene con su correa para engancharla al hombro. También trae un enganche para engancharla a un mosquetón o algo al pantalón. Es de aluminio y el tapón es de plástico duro, por lo que no destiñe con el roce (en otras se me mancharon los pantalones o camisetas con el roce y desgaste del tapón). Y luego está cubierta por una funda de "neopreno" por lo que conserva mejor la temperatura

Peu encombrante, pratique et solide. que demander de plus. On verra à l'usage si la housse tient le coup. l'idée du bouchon attaché avec la chainette est un plus.

It is made from aluminium and lined with a bpa free lining no need to worry about nasty toxins in your fluids. The neoprene cover assists in not only making this an easy item to carry for us day hikers that do not want to lug a day sack around with us but also acts as a protective cover and a insulating material keeping your water cool throughout the hike, and that is a big plus in my book I hate warm water on a hot day hiking. There has been some criticism about the chain holding the cap on to the bottle, and yes it is a little cheap but I don't see this as a problem if you really think your going to abuse this bottle that much then either change the chain of buy a different bottle.All in as a neat piece of kit from a top manufacturer am very pleased with my purchase

Zu aller erst einmal habe ich die Flasche aus optischen Gründen gewählt. Die Idee mit dem farbigen Neoprenüberzug finde ich toll, das wirkt modern und passend für Outdoor- Freizetaktivitäten. Alterntiv gibt es fast nur diese Militärflaschen in grün oder Tarnfarben. Damit kann man gerne Soldaten ausstatten, ich brauche positive Farben wenn ich draußen bin.Die Flasche an sich, ohne Neoprenanzug, ist sicherlich nichts besonderes. Sieht aus wie eine Feldflasche, ist aus Aluminium und robust wirkend gefertigt.Sie tut das was sie soll, nämlich Flüssigkeit aufnehmen und über längere Zeit kühl halten. Für gerade einmal 20€ habe ich auch keine Designerflasche erwartet und zum Glück bringt sie ja diesen tollen Anzug mit.Der Verschluss ist aus Hartkunststoff an einer Kette gehalten. Beides bekommt man mit Gewalt oder Missgeschick sicherlich kaputt. Wenn man aber zu zuviel Kraft, ungedult oder sowas neigt, dann gibt es ja auch die Variante mit einem Verschluss aus Aluminium. Kostet dann halt einen 10er mehr.Hier finde ich sollte man vorher überlegen was man möchte und wieviel Geld man dafür in die Hand nehmen will.Den Riemen kann man leider nicht abnehmen da er mit dem Neopren vernäht ist. Hier wurde auf zwei bis 4 zusätzliche Kunststoffteilchen die einen Verschluss bilden verzichtet.Aber auch das stört mich nicht. Und da ich weiß was Aluminum und andere Materialien in Herstellung, Beschaffung, Verarbeitung, Vermarktung und Transport kosten, denke ich, dass man hier ein schönes und Zweckdienliches Fläschen zu einem fairen Preis hat.Zum Schluss, als unbedingt notwendiger Tipp!!!Die Flasche vor dem ersten Gebrauch dringend sorgfältig reinigen!!!Ich habe zwei Flaschen gekauft und bei einer waren lose Aluminiumteilchen drin. Dafür könnte man zwar nun auch den ein oder anderen Stern abziehen, aber man sollte selbst wissen, dass man bestimmte Artikel nicht ohne vorher zu gucken benutzt.
