Ease of use and moves air well
Minimal space and maximum breeze! Goes from whisper quiet to conversational tone at its maximum speed. Covers a extra large bathroom/laundry 16'x16' with ease at the higher speeds. Easy to move with the built-in recessed handle and easy to control with the simple infrared controller. Hits all the highlights for a mid-sized room fan that's effective, easy to use, and easy to move as it easily moves air!

Tall but narrow tower fits in a nook in kitchen
Needed a fan to fit in a specific nook next to refrigerator kitchen and not be in the way. This fit the bill. Creates a cool breeze. Now if you need a hurricane blowing on you this is not for you.

Awesome fan
The fan is phenomenal! We had an old Honeywell and we moved it up to the bedroom. This fan is quiet, cools the whole room down and has various settings. It’s easy to use. It’s easy to clean too. Highly recommend it.

Hell of a fan.
It spins a cylindrical tower style rotary fan blade. A lot of different speed settings but I've ran this on high with the oscillate feature on for the past, 3-4 years. I planned on performing a full disassembly and cleaning but after my air purifier taking a lot longer than intended I wasn't in the mood. So I pointed my window A/C unit, a window fan and laid out a towel, I went to work with a vacuum with a brush attachment, then a light mist of 99% alcohol, then a light mist of 2 parts Dawn dish soap: 3 parts very very hot distilled water in a pressurized sprayer, followed by a rinse of cool pure distilled water while it was running and on oscillate. Turned it upside down and shook it out. smacked it a few times then a few more sprays of alcohol and scrubbing the vents with an old toothbrush, I could have used some automotive grease or silicone lubricant on the moving parts, but this thing will probably outlive most of my appliances already LOL... Then I let the fans blow on it for about 10 minutes and unplugged it and now i use it for my basement. Blows too hard now, lol. Hell of a fan. Compared to those big blade stand up fans, window fans, or a box fan, this thing is 1000x better, let me tell ya. I usually have the window fan blowing in, horizontally at the top of my window and this thing blowing toward the window. Seems weird but it works... get this, super quiet, efficient, powerful, fairly tall but doesn't take up much space, very durable (tipped over about 50 dozen times, could probably weigh it down with a thick piece of steel or a steel ring the same size as the one attached, ooh i am going to search that up or make one right now), remote (? I think i lost mine if it has one), overall a super amazing fan.

Circulating fan
This fan is so powerful and quiet cools off the room perfectly. I had a ceiling fan that I don’t even even turn on now that was noisy.

3 Replacements, All With problems
Another Edit:I have since got another fan from another company called "Dreo", which are right here on Amazon. Now that fan was quiet. Way more quiet then any of these Quietset fans I got.. the first or the replacements. So my suggestion, skip honeywell and go look at the Dreo tower fans. Much better.**Update to My Original Review that is below**So I changed my star Rating for the fan from 2 Stars Down to 1. Honeywell, as a company, has been good at sending replacements and working with me, however, they can't seem to get me a model of this fan that actually works as it should. The first replacement had a loud buzz to it, the second replacent had a bad rumble to it, and now the third replacement, which I received today, is quieter, however in 3 out of the 8 modes available, there is this big vibrating rumble you can feel in the floor, and hear. Very Annoying. The motor is still loud even in sleep mode, although this is the first one I can almost deal with the noise the motor makes.Do yourself a favor -- skip this fan.A good warranty is good, but its useless if the model sucks so bad that everytime they send you one it has a problem with it.** End of Edit **Short / Quick version:Pros: Looks great, Slim, lightweight, Remote Control responds well, a decent amount of air, easy to put together, Honeywell has awesome (if not slow) customer service!Cons: -- Dealbreaker for me: Annoying motor noise cancels out any quietness you get -- the questionable build quality of base you put togetherLong Version:I ordered this fan due to recommendations for it on almost every page I looked up fans on. I was looking for a quiet and cool setting to watch tv with it and to sleep with a quieter fan. I had an older Honeywell tower fan which is awesome, minus the top panel stopped working and you have to use the remote, it's still useful to this day. It was just noisy, and I lost a lot of features with that top panel of buttons not working. So I figured it's time for an upgrade, and with all those recommendations and the luck I had with this other Honeywell I have had for many many years, I got this fan.- The initial hookup and impression -After receiving one fan that was broken, I got this one and it seemed in good shape. I set it up, which was easy. The base is a little worrisome on build quality, but if you are careful snapping it together, it shouldn't be an issue. Then I plugged it in and turned it on. This was when the disappointment started.- Quiet (Or not?) -The sleep mode had very little air noise. Great. However, there is this annoying vibration motor buzzing noise that makes up for it. All I heard was BUUUZUUZUZUUZUZUZUZUZUUUUZUZUZUZUZUZU (yeah, like that). It drove me nuts. I'd rather have a noisy tower fan with lots of air noise. I turned it up to level 5, (which is called Relax), which is what I consider the first "power setting" and it sounded more like a normal fan then. However, after a few seconds, it starts this weird vibration noise again. THUMTHUMTHUMTHUMTHUM but make it like x100 faster than how you can say it with your mouth. Not as annoying, but still annoying. If I were to squeeze the fan with my hands, the noise would stop, which to me suggests a problem with something loose or a design issue with handling vibrations from the motor. I contacted Amazon, being annoyed because this was my second fan, and was graciously given a refund.- Feedback to Honeywell -Being very disappointed, I contacted Honeywell and conveyed my disappointment with this product. They responded by asking me a few questions and then to my surprise sent me a new one, no charge or anything. I have now received yet another one of these Fans, and guess what. IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING! So this has to be a design issue, or I'm the unluckiest person in the world when it comes to fans.Is it useful? Sure. Is it worthy of being called a Quietset? Not in my eyes. It may make less air noise than many other fans, but that motor vibration buzz sound is just too much for me.I can't say if this would be as annoying to you other customers or not, but it's definitely not as quiet as I was led to believe.- Performance and Design -The power is pretty good. People say it's weak, but in my moderate-sized bedroom, I think it does pretty well. If it wasn't for that noise, it would be perfect for me. The design itself though is pretty well done. It looks nice, and it's very skinny and lightweight. The LED on top isn't that bad, you can turn it way down via the button on the control panel and I didn't find it intrusive at night at all.So overall, if I could do it again, I wouldn't purchase this fan. It's just not worth it, especially for the price. The annoying vibration motor noise is just too much. So since I have it, I will make use of it in the noisy times of my residence in the noisiest of areas or at least with a lot of traffice, but for what I was looking for in my bedroom, it looks like I will have to look elsewhere.

Works great until you need to clean it.
its easy to put together, works well enough. Does the job of a fan well. The only problem with it is they have made it as difficult to clean as they possibly could. I believe this is on purpose, so instead of cleaning it you will throw it out and buy another fan. I had a similar fan from the same company for 10 years. It was extremely easy to clean, just pop the back off and pull the filter out. If you want to clean this one, not only do you have to unscrew and take apart the whole thing, you also have to use a special * shaped screwdriver. I find this highly annoying. And I see no reason for this other than they PURPOSELY made it as difficult as possible to clean. Shady. I've had it for a year now, and now its making awful grinding noises because it needs to be cleaned. But before I can clean it I have to get a special screwdriver to open it up.
