The Firehouse Five Plus Two were mostly comprised of cartoon animators from the Disney Studios and their spontaneous sessions were often injected with a good dose of humour. Stoking The Fire follows on from the success of the first volume 'Settin' The World On Fire' and is a great second helping, showing what a fun and lively jazz band the Firehouse Five were. Also included in this fantastic new set are rare recordings of the band with Bing Crosby and Ella Fitzgerald.
