Wholesome Indulgence - a treat with subtle sweetness
I recently tried two varieties: the chocolate chip and almond, and the raisin and almond flavors. With a subtle sweetness often derived from natural ingredients like dates or honey, these cookies deliver a pleasant, earthy flavor without being too sweet. The spelt flour adds a unique, nutty taste and gives the cookies a slightly crunchy yet tender texture, making them a delightful choice for anyone looking to avoid refined sugar. The chocolate and almond cookies had a rich, a very light bitter-sweet chocolate flavor that paired perfectly with the almonds’ satisfying crunch, while the raisin and almond variety offered a more naturally sweet profile, with raisins adding just the right amount of chewiness and contrast to the crunchy almonds. While they may not appeal to someone craving a traditional sugary treat, their natural and rustic appeal shines through, providing a sense of indulgence without the guilt. Perfect with a cup of tea or as a quick snack, these no sugar spelt cookies are a deliciously nourishing option for those looking for a quick bite.

Aunt Gussie's S-F cookies are SO delicious!!
What a blessing you are for Diabetics, to provide such wonderful, flavorful S-F cookies. I've tried all of your products sold on Amazon now. My all-time favorite is the pecan meltways, but the lemon, and then, the cranberry-orange biscuits are also favorites. The oatmeal is the only one that needs some more flavoring - I suggest putting a bit of pumpkin pie spice in the mixture to give that more flavor. Several had mentioned getting broken pieces when received - - I say eat the broken pieces, because they are great!! Too, I ordered three different kinds with four packages of cookies in each, and NOT ONE cookie was broken in this delivery! Some complained that the lemon cookie was too thin and needed more flavoring - my suggestion: use two of the cookies with a little S-F vanilla frosting in-between to make it a sandwich cookie - it's fabulous that way too. Thanks for these great products. Well-done Aunt Gussie!

Tastes good but dry! Try 20 seconds in the microwave.
Being a lover of sweets, but also being a type 2 diabetic, I'm always looking for a delicious sugar-free option. The lemon flavored arrived at my house, but still waiting for the oatmeal ones to be delivered. I tried the lemon flavored and was expecting a luscious, great-tasting cookie (based on all the positive reviews). - The taste is pretty good with a mild sweetness and a noticeable lemon flavor. However, I was a little surprised at how dry these were. A tall glass of ice cold milk definitely helped these go down better. But then I got an idea to try heating these up a little bit using the microwave oven. Try putting 2 or 3 cookies on a folded paper towel, and give them about 20 to 30 seconds on full power. You'll end up with a warm and slightly moist cookie that definitely enhances the eating experience. I'm hoping that the oatmeal ones will be better overall when they finally arrive. Of course, these were really good by crumbling them over the top of a big scoop of vanilla ice cream! - but, of course, this kind of defeats the purpose of eating sugar-free cookies. LOL!

One of my favorite sugar-free cookies
I mainly stick to a sugar-free diet not exactly keto, but along those lines, as it helps to keep me from gaining weight. And these have to be my favorite sugar-free cookie I've had, particularly since I can't have anything with chocolate in it, which means I'm stuck mostly with just sugar-free butter cookies that have little flavor. These are *so* tasty! I don't have too many issues with Maltitol and only have 1 cookie as a snack, but the lemon tang and the nice crunch of these cookies is a joy. They keep well in the freezer and I have generally been lucky and not gotten containers that have been badly broken, there will usually be a few broken cookies but the majority are intact.

BLAH... Tastes Like Lemon Flavored CARDBOARD 🤢
These truly taste like I'd imagine lemon flavored cardboard would taste! I don't have a picture, because my kiddo ate them all, but I could only stand to eat a few! He's 12 and he'll eat anything, so the money didn't go to waste, but I'll never buy these again. If you're looking for a mildly sweet/sugar free snack, try this same brand's Pecan Meltaways or Cranberry/Orange Biscotti Biscuits. I've eaten both and they are both great and neither are very sweet, but I don't like my sweets too rich! The biscotti Biscuits are a bit hard though, so if you have dental issues, those definitely aren't for you. Hope this helps someone!

Best Sugar-Free Cookies on the Market
These taste like Keebler Pecan Sandies and they have the same crumbly sandy texture. Can eat these out of hand like a regular cookie or crush them and use them for pie crusts (awesome!) Be aware however, they are made with butter so they are NOT low fat and while they also use spelt, they have flour and are NOT gluten free. The calories are high (about 50-60 calories a cookie) but just without real sugar. But so good!!! Expensive and sometimes hard to find so buy then when you see them.
