Nice Shoe
Nice Shoe especially for the price - after reading the other reviews I was concerned that the size 8 may be a bit to long - but it wasn't. With medium width shoes I usually need to buy 1/2 size up and did so with these. The width was fine and being a softer leather they will stretch. They were comfortable to wear right out of the box. Wore them first day to work - all day lots of time on my feet and they were fine. The seams inside are comfortable and not irritating as this style can be. I wear them without socks so I would know quickly if they were uncomfortable. The insoles are nice soft suede - not much in the way of arch support but even with higher arches they feel fine. The blue color is nice not too dark - not too light. Overall pleased with the purchase.

The case of the unwanted flipflop
These are like glorified (and pretty expensive) bedroom slippers. I have entirely average feet, the length of these is correct. But they're woefully soft and no matter how much I adjust the laces, they still flop off my feet when I walk. There is very, very minimal arch support as well. But that's isn't that big a deal for me. Mostly, I wanted a shoe that is firm enough to feel like a shoe. Since I'm sure they'll stretch somewhat and get worse when they're not so new, these are being donated to charity.

Incredibly comfortable, super cute and a brand I trust
I needed some business casual navy blue shoes for work and, after weeks of searching, I found these cute mocs. I can't stand to wear shoes that aren't natural materials (leather, hemp, cotton canvas, etc) so I was especially happy when I saw these, but was concerned the leather would be cheap. It's nice, butter soft great quality leather and true to size. Very comfortable foot bed and I was able to wear them straight out of the box without breaking in. The only downside is that the color is a bit different than they appear in the photo. It's more of a purplish blue, almost a dark periwinkle, rather than navy blue like they are in the photo. But that's ok, they're cute and comfortable so I'm keeping them and still can wear them with most of what I'd planned on wearing them with anyway.

Designed like the original ones way back when
The pair I got are perfect. Had a pair like this prob. 30 years ago. The top part is decently low on the foot and so for a woman the shoe flatters your foot. It doesn't make it look bigger than it is. I don't know if the shoes they sent are a fluke in this respect. I hope not.

Excellent Shoes, Excellent Price
I always loved my shoes that look just like these, made by a brand that starts with an S, who no longer makes them. These looked close enough to my favorite shoes of 35 years, I got them. That was a very good decision. I love my shoes. They're comfy, but nice enough to wear to appointments. Wait for them to go on sale, and it makes it even better!! I am about to order another pair.

Good fit
Nice fit and great quality.I can't speak for what others may say, but Eastland, is a better made shoe than Sperry or Sebago at a lesser price. The shoe is more squared and roomier. The color(bomber brown) is true as well the comfort. The shoes are more comfortable than the other two brands. All casual slip-ons need socks. So do these. but not thick ones.

I'm still looking
I normally wear either an 8.5 or 9 shoe size. The 9's were too large, and the 8.5 was not available in brown, so I will be returning them. I am looking for a replacement for the LLBean Camp Moc that was discontinued, and these are the closest thing to them that I could find. If I can find them in 8.5, and order them, I will probably cut off the little green Eastland tag that is on the back of the shoe. That is just such a weird thing to have on a shoe.

I am hopeful!
A little disappointed because I expected them to fit perfectly as soon as I tried them on, but I remembered that my other pair of Eastland's seemed big to me at first, so I am hopeful that these will "come around". If not, I will insert one of my many optional pads that I have on hand to take up the slack. My other pair of loafers are silver, and have become my "default" pair of shoes because they are so very comfortable. I thought I should have a more neutral color, so this is the reason I ordered this second pair. The style is somewhat different, though, and that also might be why these fit differently.

Really nice moccasins!
I normally wear 8W, but since that wasn't an option I went with the 8s and they do fit well (these may not work for those with very slender feet). I did add a thin 3/4 length insole for some arch support, and find them very comfortable. When they first came out of the box they were stiff and shiny looking, but within a few days of wear they loosened up and the leather lost the tacky sheen and looks lovely (mine are the 'Natural' color).I am docking 1 star because within a week the stitching started coming out on one side where it meets the top (a trip to the cobbler fixed that). Otherwise they seem quite sturdy and should last a few years.I highly recommend - they look as pictured and the quality is really good.
