An all glass French press.What a pleasure to use. If you don't want to infuse plastic day after day, or have trouble cleaning other ones with plastic attached this is a good alternative. All glass is healthier and protects the flavor from transferring. Arrived safely and in tact, and the metal does sit flush with the interior walls. Put material in (Coffee for me) and then pour hot water, stir a little and wait. Put the lid on, and slowly press down.There will be a small bit of particulates of coffee powder, but depending on how you grind your beans will adjust this. Makes a great cup of coffee when you don't want to fire up the machine or make a whole pot. I would say about 3-4 cups volume. It is glass, and somewhat fancy so I feel I want to be delicate with it and not break it, good to keep in an area with no metal or other items to bump it. It is thick enough to take a few, it's not thin glass and somewhat sturdy but be gentle with the top where glass meets glass.This would be ideal for Tea drinkers. It seems durable enough for everyday use, ad no French press I've seen can survive a hard fall. But this seems to require extra care.The stainless steel mesh occasionally lets fine particles through, particularly with coarsely ground coffee. But I expect some of that in a French press.The color options and dishwasher-safe convenience are welcome touches.

This is a beautiful French Press and I really appreciate that it is made of glass with no plastics at all.The problem is that it is a single wall construction, so although the French Press it works well, it does not retain heat. You start with boiling water and in 15 minutes it is tepid. There's no going for a second cup for yourself. It will be cold by the time you try to pour. Since it is made of all glass, it's safe in a microwave, but I can't recommend.

Finally, I have a really good way to brew my loose tea without making a complete mess. I really love this French press. It’s so easy now with all my Loose tees that I love to make them and to brew them to make a great cup of tea. It’s very easy to clean and it looks quite elegant. I wasn’t certain how well the press would be, but it works really really well and no tea leaves in my tea. The press works just as it indicates and I am very happy. I would highly recommend this if you like, coffee or tea because it’ll make a difference.
