A fun, useful product. Only 5 bucks? Shut up & take my money!
Poyiccot USB C to USB A Adapter with Digital Display, USB C Male to USB A Female Adapter 10GbpsI initially thought these would be just a fun little gimmick. I had a similar product before (which is now in the trash) that featured a "voltmeter." I found it odd that every USB port I tested consistently showed 5.1v. It turns out that was the gimmick—5.1v was fixed just to indicate the USB port was active. However, these little devices are different. They connect inline, meaning you plug your cable into one end and your device into the other, or the other way around. When nothing is connected, they continuously display the voltage. When you connect a phone or another device for charging, they also show the current draw and wattage being used. There are no buttons or controls; once plugged in, they are always ON. The display cycles through the readings, showing each one for about four seconds before switching. Instead of an LCD, it seems to use LED, making it readable in the dark. However, it can be a bit dim and hard to see in bright lighting. The main difference between these and the other version that I reviewed is the interface; these connect to a USB-C port. Other than that, they are quite similar.Another use I found for them is extending a hard-to-reach USB port by about 1.5 inches. Just so you know, they don’t block the data lines, so they won’t work as an anti-hijack adapter for public charging stations.

Handy Adapter with a Useful Display
This adapter does the job well, and the digital display is a nice bonus for monitoring power. It’s compact and works as expected. What I don't like is the 5v limitation due to the USB A input (but that's expected). Other than that it's a cool gadget.

Allows USB-A connection to USB-C power supplies, displays Volts/Amps/Watts
Unfortunately there's no magic way for this adapter to provide Power Delivery to USB-A loads, but it does correctly pass Apple, Qualcomm, Samsung, etc higher-power protocols through - *IF* the USB-C supply supports them of course. The transparent case is geek-cool and the display cycles through Volts, Amps, then Watts with 3, 3, and 10 second delays respectively. So it's not a great dynamic meter, it does give you an idea of what power is being drawn by your device - and all in a package about the same size as many "dumb" adapters.

Good Adapters
I have lots of USB-A to USB-C cords so thought I'd get a couple of adapters so those cords could also be used for C to C. These fit snugly on both ends. The power display is a nice touch, so you can see how well something is charging. Most of the time, I prefer my devices to charge slowly so that the batteries last longer. The transparent plastic casing makes them look a little cooler than other similar designs. Overall, I can't find anything major to complain about.

Work one direction
Firstly, nice build quality and a good device. The concept is cool. I tried this out by plugging it into my device, it stated 5 volts, so I was like duh... I get it. Then I flipped the cord and plugged this device into the power source side. Walla full rotating stats. Well, that is unfortunate, as the stats at the plug are much less accessible in many situations. Maybe it was just me on the flip sided experience, because otherwise these are great!

Works as intended
A USB adaptor that displays voltage, amperage, and power in watts flowing through it. It looks accurate too. This one is USB A female to UBC C male.

Gadget Nerd's Dream for 10 Bucks
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)If you're the kind of person who’s always hunting for the right cable, meet the Poyiccot USB C to USB A Adapter with Digital Display. It's like a little nerdy gift from the tech gods, with its cool transparent design and digital display that’ll make your inner geek grin. Plus, it's a handy thing to have in your bag—whether you're connecting it to your MacBook, iPhone, or any other USB-C device. It works well, feels pretty sturdy for its size, and I love how it syncs data at 10Gbps without a hiccup. Sure, it’s a little adapter, but it’s got that "don't underestimate me" energy. For $10 and a two-pack, I’m not complaining. Seriously, that’s cheaper than a fancy coffee.Overall, 4/5 stars because while it’s great, one side handles data syncing, so it's not perfect. But for the price? Total win!

Works on my MacBook Air M3
Recently purchased a new MacBook Air which only has USB-C on the side. I figured these would be handy to keep in a tech bag with my charger and stuff in case I am ever needing to use a device that only has USB-A output. I tested with a Samsung external SSD and the everything worked fine. The transfer speed was very fast. No complaints.
