easy to install

Buenísimo solo si, es preferible que te ayude un carpintero a instalarlo por algunas herramientas que es poco común que alguien tenga como un router, etc

Must have some ability to problem solve and be familiar with wood working tools and experience using them. We went with this style because neither of us liked the whole hardware look out on the market, and size was an issue. Meaning we didn't have a lot of room over the door to use as installation space. This eventually did do the job, just took longer than I expected and some creative thinking. It looks great and we are happy with the way it eventually came out.

Not exactly what I would call an easy job for a novice DIYer but doable if you've got the right tools. The biggest hurdle is milling out the track in the bottom of the door for the keeper/rollers. I recommend these main tools for the job: -Table saw with Dato stack blade or jig to run a dato with a regular blade. -Router with adjustable depth, and door jig to guide you along milling the door -Wood carving chisels to clean up the milled out bottom for the rollers. - cordless drill - bubble level - tape measure - a miter/chop saw if you're cutting this kit down to fit your door. (We used this kit in a 28" door) Only giving this 3 stars because the instructions aren't that great, and also the design of the "keeper" roller part that mounts directly to the floor really prevents the door from fully opening or closing all the way so you either end up with a 2" gap when closed or you lose 2" of doorway when opened because it prevent it from sliding back completely. This is because you have to compensate for the bottom rollers you mill into the bottom of the door which are 2" wide. Door width may play a part in this, but with this design no matter what way you look at it, you will have to over size the door to the doorway in order to make it fit correct. All in, it's still one of the more affordable options and isn't as gaudy majority of the barn door designs that are out there. Still worth a buy.
