Worked great for about 4 mths. The metal rusted and the Skimmer won't turn on. Don't waste your money on this product.

I bought this skimmer robot at the end of February 2025 and it by far has been one of the best pool cleaning accessories I’ve ever bought!It does a great job and is a game changer on my skimmer requirements with the messy shade trees I have around my pool in Arizona.It runs all day and starts right back up in the morning when the sun wakes it up.I see it’s no longer available. That’s unfortunate. Perhaps it’s related to the China tariffs? This is a great product though and at $210 had great value. Other more expensive models have more bells and whistles and app integrations. Not sure why you would need that unless the app can empty it for you!I did make one accommodation on my pool vacuum hose after getting this skimmer robot. I cut several pieces of bare copper wire and wrapped them neatly around my pool vacuum hose so that the hose sinks below the surface just enough to not interrupt what this skimmer robot wants to do. Now both cleaners can do its thing perfectly. My vacuum actually operates better with the weighted hose actually, so that was an added bonus.I suspect other negative reviews might be due to lack of quality sunshine. I have zero complaints this far.

After 3 months the vacuum completely stopped working and will no longer turn on.

Purchased in Feb and battery is dead by June. Worked great until it died.

Works good but doesn’t really get the small particles. And also after a couple uses it started running on the side of the pool over and over.

My unit died, no action whatsoever, probably the battery.

Was hesitant to purchase but so glad I did. Starts running as soon as the sun hits it and runs all day. Will usually last up to 4 hours after sun goes down. Easy cleaning. Have not used remote,cause at that point I might as well grab the net and skim. Only thing I had to do (twice so far) was manually turn back on. Nice product .

front gears that turn the front paddle broke within 30 days of use. Unit won't turn it's self on daily when it's in enough sun, at most it'll function for 2 days then just sit until you go turn it back on again. Not worth the money for the hassle, but good idea for a product.
