My 3 year old has gotten into a bad habit of fingernail biting lately and we needed something that was going to kick the habit real fast and make a lasting impression. This stuff is THE BEST. We call it “Dino nails” because of the packaging, which makes it easier to get us to get our son to agree to them. The taste is awful, I even tested it on myself first. But it’s not toxic tasting. And it can go away after a little while so they aren’t traumatized. But it definitely stopped him from putting his fingers in his mouth!

MAN. This stuff is intense! I put some on my nail to test what my toddler was going to be tasting and OH MY GOODNESS IT IS BITTER!! I ended up eating fruit snacks to get the taste out of my mouth. They weren’t kidding when they said a little goes A LONG WAY.

I tried this on my own nail before giving it to my toddler. LET IT DRY FULLY. it was not pleasant but I can say that it’s working!

My 21mn old has sucked his thumb so much the nail is damaged and the skin down to his webbing is inflamed red 24/7. If both of those things weren't happening i wouldn't mind his thumb sucking. But since it has damaged his thumb so much I had to grt something to stop it. After reading the reviews I decided to give this a shot.It does not work one bit!! It says " a little goes a long way!" So at first I just put a day on his nail, let it dry a little and then set him free. IMMEDIATELY his thumb went in his mouth and.... absolutely no reaction, like i hadn't put anything on! So i grabbed his thumb again and this time I coated his nail as well as the tip of his thumb! Once again....NOTHING! He put his thumb in his mouth and happily laid down sucking it like nothing had happened.....Don't waste your money on this junk

I believe my toddler was ready to let go of his habit of thumb sucking but he didn’t know how to stop. I saw this product with great reviews and decided to try it out. My toddler reluctantly agreed to let me put this on him and he had a moment that he wanted to do it but this product stopped him immediately. It’s been almost about a week and he has not done it! I’ve been reapplying nightly with him as of now until the habit is really kicked off to the curb. This product is odorless, quick drying, and it doesn’t leave a layer of gloss once dried. Perfect for toddlers like him that it’s even on. Thank you NIXX IT!

This treatment hasbeen a little helpful in helping my hyperactive kiddo break his nail biting habit. Although it doesn't completely stop him, the bitter taste is strong enough to slow him down a bit and make him think twice about it so he does it less often (I'll take whatever I can get lol). Of course it does have to be reapplied throughout the day but not bad. Also I like that the solution is odorless and clear so it doesn’t draw attention. Oh and a little really does go a long ways thankfully.

WORKS! My kid is a nail bitter and I’m surprised by how some reviews said it didn’t work, my kid hates this thing. It’s been almost three days but we’re seeing results. Disclaimer, I tasted it, gross man.
