I needed to replace the rear wheel bearing on my '06 Passat and found this by searching the OEM part number. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. I had expected it to be made in Germany, although it wasn't specified in the listing. It was a perfect fitment for my car and seems to be of high quality, it was marked 'made in China'. VW does have manufacturing plants in China and I would expect many of their German suppliers to either setup facilities there, or contract with local manufacturers. If quality is controlled, there is no reason for these to not be high quality parts, as long as they are not factory rejects. I put the bearing on after ~180,000 miles on the car, and do not expect it to fail while I own it. If it does, I'll report back here.

Workers good for Jetta with brm engine

I installed this on my 06 Jetta about 6 months ago and have had no issues with it. Couldn't be happier.
