I had another chew from this range that was a bit too tough for my dog, and so I thought this 'easy chew' might be better. It definitely was, it's nicely long lasting but not to tough that he got bored, and he ate the lot.However, I wasn't expecting it to be so smelly. When I opened it and gave it to my dog I didn't notice a particularly strong smell. When I walked into the area he's taken this to chew on however I was struck by a strong and unpleasant fishy smell! This obviously didn't seem to bother my dog as he polished it off, but wasn't very pleasant in the house.It's a nice chew that my dog enjoyed, but the smell will put me off buying these in future.

These are very medium size chewing treats for dogs - three in a pack.Our boy is still young but very heavy chewer. Sadly, these were no contenders for him.Not sure he liked them as we still have two left but he doesn't seem much interested.

This is the second of these 'all natural' bone shaped chews I ordered to try with my dog (the other was the Lamb flavour). I'm careful with her diet and avoid artificial additives as far as possible, just as I do with the rest of the family. Although the ingredients aren't listed in full on the listing, they seem acceptable (see picture).The chew is a hard bone shape about the size of a snickers bar. It has a grainy texture, and a pronounced fishy smell - not surprising with krill as one of the ingredients. So far so good.However, my vet told me that to protect my dog's teeth and digestion, I should never give her any chews that are too hard. She said that testing whether they are too hard is easy: if you can make a decent impression with your thumbnail, it's OK; if you can't, the item is too hard and can be a choke/blockage hazard. The other Lamb-flavoured one of these I got was definitely much too hard. This one is slighly less hard, and while I couldn't make an impression with my nail, I could with a knife. Nonetheless this is still too hard for me to be comfortable with. I let my dog have a bit of a chew at it, and she was definitely interested, but I took it away from her when she started trying to bite chunks off it.My girl is now seven years old and her teeth are quite worn, so I prefer to follow my vet's advice on these things. I wouldn't buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve done a detailed review on my video but I’m very happy to recommend and it took my 12yr old dog 30 mins to eat and my 4yr old dog 20 mins to eat so a substantial chew for seniors.

I wouldn’t necessarily describe these “My Easy Chew” dog bones from PLUTOS as easy chew, but they are softer than the non-senior bones done by the same company.No complaints from the pug, and you can tell that this is a different product. No mess either.But, and it is a big but, £13.90 (at time of review) is a lot for three dog chew bones.

I ordered these Pluto cheese chews for my older dog, he usually loves any treat with cheese in, so I was hopeful that he would like these too.The treats arrive in a set of 3 individually wrapped treats, each one has the necessary nutritional information clearly printed on the wrapper, along with the best before date which is 18 months away. There is also mention of the antarctic research fund and eco harvesting on the wrapper.I have to admit as the first ingredient listed was apple flour, and there is no mention of cheese in the list I was a bit dissapointed, but I was still hopeful as it seemed like a healthy treat otherwise.Once opened there appeared to be very little in the way of smell with the chew, but most worrying is the density, it's so hard that I've struggled to make any noticeable mark in the chew, even with a knife, which I found very worrying. I did decide to allow my dog to try it under close supervision, however he wasn't at all interested in it.Overall it has the makings of a good product, the ingredients aren't bad, it does need some tweaks though, it's far too hard, and doesn't seem to smell of much, so it struggles to get the dogs interested, unfortunately I'm not able to recommend this chew.

I was very surprised by these chews when they arrived as for the price I expected a much bigger size of chew and I would of expected a chew that would last a very long time to make it worth the value however that certainly isn't the case.My smallest dog who is about 6kg and is also my oldest dog, found the chews too hard and quite difficult to manoeuvre about and grip between her paws to get a good hold of it. As such, she very quickly lost interest in it which is very unlike her!My second eldest dog who is also my biggest at 12kg, found it much easier to chew and it was gone in under 30 minutes. It did sound incredibly hard when he was chewing it though and I felt a bit uncomfortable about it as I didn't want it to damage his teeth.So all things considered, I definitely wouldn't buy them in the future or recommend them.

Pros- dog loved them- reasonably denseCons- on the costly sideThey are dense. The dog didn't have much issue munching it. Definitely peaked her interest when she smelt them and took it off me eagerly.I didn't see many crumbs afterwards either. So it's not like big biscuits or anything.They are individually wrapped so you're not opening a packet and setting the timer off on freshness.If the dog doesn't complain and comes back with a tail wag, it's always a good sign after a treat like this!
