At the price a fine value for high quality listening.
I was asked if I would review the JEECOO G90 Gaming Headset with Microphone and at first I was hesitant. First of all I have NO idea how a headset would improve or even could be used in gaming as I am not a gamer that uses sound at any specific volume. Secondly I was really unsure how a headset at this price point could produce sound that I would want to listen to for a long period or time. That being said I do listen to a lot of orchestral and other forms of classical music on my computer and I have a pretty high end pair of amplified speakers and subwoofer to enhance that kind of listening experience. So I planned a specific way that I was going to listen to the JEECOO G90's for purposes of review and I was very surprised. Many years ago when stationed in Thailand I bought what was then a very expensive pair of audiophile headphones manufactured by THE leading audiophile equipment maker in Japan. At that time I shared quarters with three others and we all worked different shifts. I wanted to be able to listen to music when off duty and the only way I could do that was by using headphones that would not allow any sound to go anywhere other than to my ears as whenever I was off duty someone in the rather small room was sleeping. Those expensive headphones lasted for three decades but eventually lost their response particularly in higher registers and the bass had become "muddy" sounding. In today's dollars those headphones would probably cost $200 or even more so I was pretty sure the JEECOO G90 headphones would be at best weak.I began by choosing two interesting recordings of bass instruments: "The Rains of Castamere" and "Jenny of Oldstones" both pieces of music from Game of Thrones and both recorded by a chorus of FORTY deep bass "voices": Treble, Bass, Double Bass and Sub-base trombones, at two or three forms of tubas. The bass sound through my speakers was pretty amazing with that much low power but through the JEECO G90 headphones I was really surprised at how clear the lowest of notes were and I realized that I could hear the lowest sounds with a crisp articulation I had not heard through my desk speakers. I was impressed. Then I listened to two different recordings of Gustav Mahler's Second symphony "The Resurrection" particularly the soprano/contralto duet toward the end of the final movement as sometimes I have found in the duet the higher soprano's power can over come the contralto. I wanted to see if I could clearly hear both voices when singing together. With the Jeeco G90, I found the milder sound of the contralto held its own and the duet was a perfect melding of sound. The symphony version that I listened to included a very large chorus. I was listening to a video recording of the performance and I am unsure how large the chorus was but I think around 250 and sometimes recording of large choruses are difficult to listen to because the voices are all melded together in a mass. But in the Jeeco G90's the articulation of the chorus was surprisingly clean and clear. Again, I was surprised and impressed.I also listened to Respighi's "Pines of Rome". This composition includes a lot of different instrumental "speeches" played by instruments not always obviously present in other music. And the end of the piece...supposedly about a Roman Legion marching into view down the Appian Way...is a truly powerful bombastic piece of music that really needs to be heard live in person of by really good speakers. Again, I was surprised at how good the presentation of this complex orchestral piece was through the Jeeco G90's.I listened to these recordings and others as well several times over the two weeks I have had these headphones and was routinely impressed by how really good these headphones are. One thing I noticed during one test was a high pitched quiet tone in the right headphone that appeared during one performance. At first the tone was masked by the music but when the power of the music diminished I could clearly hear the tone in the background. This same tone appeared during several recordings always fairly close to the conclusion of the musical composition. I was wondering if the headphones 4G wireless broadcast connection was creating a humming sound or perhaps the amplifier in the right headphone was "humming". But then I noticed that I did not hear the humming all the time nor did it appear in ALL recordings I was listening to. It was also absent when no music was being played. I decided that there was a high pitched tone...some sort of electronic feedback in some recordings that I had not heard before and it was the sensitivity of the Jeecoo G90 headphones that made it noticeable to my ears.So from a classical music listener's position, I have to give the Jeeco G90 headset a high rating as I was very surprised at how good the sound was particularly at this price point. The headset comes with a microphone attached to one ear piece which is easy to disconnect and I removed mine because I have no use for making phone calls using these phones. I also will say that the phones themselves are an excellent size. Their noise sealing against the head is really extremely good insuring the purity of the listening experience. The Jeecoo G90 wireless gaming headset is a surprisingly good piece of audio equipment and I have no difficulty giving this headset five stars.

Low-Budget Lifesaver – Solid Performance Without Breaking the Bank!
I recently bought the Jeecoo G90 Wireless Gaming Headset, and as someone who just came from testing the official PS5 headset, I have to say—I’m genuinely impressed.🎧 Why It Surprised Me:Ultra-Low Latency (15ms!): I wasn’t expecting this level of responsiveness. The USB dongle connection is instant on my PS5 and PC. No noticeable lag while gaming—huge win for online play.Solid Sound Quality: While it obviously doesn’t match the depth and richness of the PS5 Pulse 3D headset, these 50mm drivers still pump out crisp, immersive sound. Footsteps, gunfire, dialogue—all come through clear and with good directional accuracy.Comfort All Day Long: At just 0.5lbs, these things are light as air. The ear cups and padding are surprisingly soft. Long sessions? No problem.Reliable Mic for Team Chat: The cardioid noise-canceling mic does its job well. Clear voice, no unnecessary background noise, and you can detach it when not in use. Your teammates will thank you.Bluetooth Flexibility: Switching to mobile via Bluetooth was seamless. I even took a call mid-game break—smooth as butter.Battery Life = Amazing: I’ve been using it daily for nearly a week and still haven’t had to recharge. 24+ hours is no joke.⚠️ Quick Heads-Up:Not for Xbox – so if that’s your console, look elsewhere.Don’t expect high-end audio like you’d get with premium brands, but for the price? This thing punches way above its weight.✅ Final Verdict:If you're tight on budget but still want a solid headset for gaming and voice chat, the Jeecoo G90 is 100% worth it. It might not win any awards for luxury feel, but for performance and value? It’s a win for your ears—and your wallet.
