Covers well, easily applied great finish

Ok, this is quite pricey but it does do a good job. I use it on my shed (smooth wood) and fences (rough wood) and it covers well and I love this colour. I apply using brushes and it is quite easy to apply but is runny and sticky so I always wear nitrile gloves when applying.

Great product … went into fence very easily. Only downside is that the colour is slightly different from what was on the product information. Very difficult to see what the colours are going to look like as some are very similar

Solvent-based, which was a pleasant surprise - I thought it would have been made illegal by now.I just slapped it on with an old brush and let it soak in. Colour (oak) is a bit patchy due to irregularities in the grain, but that doesn't bother me.Dry enough for second coat in a few hours. Repels rain very well.Time will tell how well it protects from rot etc.

I have ordered several of this in clear for our new log cabin as I wanted to give it a good couple of coatings of clear first inside and out so it was fully protected.I then ordered one of the golden and one of the oak to see which looked the best as I was after a warm wood tone as the actual spruce wood is very light in tone and a bit too light for our liking.The golden one is almost orange so we definitely didn’t like that one and would avoid it in the future.The oak one however, is really lovely and absolutely perfect for what we wanted. I’ve now done a full coat inside and out and it looks absolutely brilliant. I’ve used a brilliant but cheap 5ltr spray pressurised pump and that has done a brilliant job although I’ve had to buy more than anticipated as you can’t help but have to put it on thick or it will just leave treatment free areas that don’t look good but it’s very watery too so it runs off walls and leaves puddles. I did buy some 3M cover suits, which although still let the stain through so I wore old clothes, if I hadn’t have worn it I would have looked like an oak person for days if not weeks as it’s very hard to get off as it is waterproof after all!!! Either way it all looks brilliant and is now very well protected as the rain just beads and runs off. Perfect! Highly recommend it.
