Easy and Economical
New shed 5ft x 7ft, two coats one day apart on not a very nice day. Dried perfectly no change to original colour lovely waterproof finish. Shook it up well put small amount in open container and used a 3 inch brush. Started at top and worked down, no need to put loads on soaks in immediately and covers brilliantly.I did use a mask as there is some vapour from the liquid but no where as bad as some reviews state. Does not stain surrounding area if you have any drips, just wiped with dry cloth, used cardboard to cover ground but no need really if you don't go mad.Best wood preservative have ever used for coverage , ease of use, and being economical. Would purchase again without a doubt no looking for anything better because I don't think you would find anything.Gave shed two coats outside and door inside and out, enough leftover to do the same again, used less than half of the contents really amazing, you will not be disappointed.I do not usually go to this length with reviews this is a one off even uploaded a picture to show finished product. This is with two coats and the colour is exactly as if you had left it without using preservative, unbelievable but true, give it a go you wont be sorry.

Truly excellent product.
A year ago, almost to the day, I was laboriously sanding down a decorative cedar slatted fence that, despite regular oiling, had become grey and flat. After getting down to the bare wood I applied a coat of the clear protector. It went on very easily and the performance has really exceeded my expectations. I gave it another coat in late autumn and what’s really impressed me is how well it’s performed over winter. There has been virtually no fading, zero greying, and all that was needed this week was a light clean with some soda solution before another coat. The water was still beading on the less weathered parts of the fence, showing that the protection was still effective. It’s a brilliant product and I recommend it unhesitatingly.

Not Water Based.
Real oil based solvent. Best for wood and far superior to water based variations which hardly work over time. Much better to use cooking oil (used or not) than Any water based product, and forego the added insecticides etc.

Best fence treatment.
We used this product after seeing our neighbour’s fence appeared to be totally water resistant. They used a stain whereas we wanted to retain a natural look and went for the clear. We used large brushes to paint the fence. It does drip so we slid some old spare cardboard under the fence to catch the drips. After we treated our fence, another neighbour asked us what we had used, as they were really impressed with the way it repelled the rain too. Our initial treatment lasted a year or two before needing another coat.

Horrible stuff - wear the correct mask and goggles
OK, so it wasn't the best idea for someone with asthma to choose this to protect and preserve some lovely Scandic-redwood furniture for the garden. but ... I soon found out the hard way that this stuff gets on your chest faster than you can reach for your inhaler. And it stays there. I wore a face mask suitable for 'noxious vapours' according to the description on the pack. About as effective as a chocolate fireguard. Some contractor mates who turned up to clear the guttering took one sniff of the air, and one look at the mask, and said you need the next grade up. It's solvent based and can be overwhelming even in a big open garden. I'd started with an easily accessible wooden coffee table, too, and it was still problematic. I wore safety goggles too but my eyes were stinging after 10 minutes of application. I gave up after half an hour. The contractors now have the rest of the container, virtually full. The stuff lingers in the air too. It seemed to affect me for hours after.
