Remodelling a Kitchen (Taunton's Build Like a Pro) Paperback – 1 Oct. 2003

This is a fabulous book! A friend lent me a copy in Australia so I could think about my kitchen in France. It travelled with me, first to the Middle East and then to France. It is fabulous for helping you to think outside the box to create a place that suits you and your lifestyle. Back in the Middle East i had to buy a new copy for my friend in Australia because I didn’t want to give it back!

The kitchen that takes up the majority of the book seems a bit dated to me. The ideas are useful, but not particularly good for inspiration. The how-to is alright, but honestly, I got a lot more help from free You Tube videos. (FYI, i'm a total amateur, and i've completed 95% of my full home remodel on my own.)

and this one doesn't disappoint. They are always well done with lots of photos and good text to help you make decisions and complete a successful project.

Quite disappointed with this book (plus a few others of the same 'Built Like A Pro' series). Nice pictures of what projects should end up as, but very little on the step by step to getting there.
