These are awesome! My kids ask for dance party's every night! It has becom part of our bedtime routine. I think this has been my best purchase yet! We have tall white ceilings and I bought 2 lights. They are amazing in the dark. I actually got a little nauseous at first cause the lights were crazy awesome! The remote is sweet cause you can change speed light movement which helped with my nausea lol. Of course my eyes adjusted. I am so excited to use these lights for our Halloween party and even for Christmas since they have a red and green option. Seriously if you don't have this light get to today and party on!

Bought for 6 year old to go with new karaoke mic. He loves it! This is a great value for home/family/birthday party use. Probalby not robust or bright enough for DJ/bar use, unless you'd use several.I don't understand the "music" modes, they aren't all that different and it doesn't seem to sync with the beat of the music (or else it's really subtle), and the instructions are not helpful for explaining in more detail. Remote buttons unhelpfully labelled A1, A2, A3, etc. when they should've been labeled G, RB, RGB, etc. for the colors they activate.Weird quirk: It powers on as soon as you plug it in. What that means if you have a power outage (especially at night), is that you will wake up to a disco party(!!!) when the power kicks back on! Kind of a creepy/weird surprise the first time, but just annoying once you know why. If you have frequent power outages, just leave unplugged or on a switchable power strip.Would've been nice if it included a cheap plastic base to mount it to, so it could pivot fully without being permanently mounted. Works fine to rotate the arm like an easel stand, just have a limited range of rotation for aiming onto the ceiling then.

You can get a couple for the same price if you look around in Amazon. I don't event bother to check the item since I feel frustrated for what I received. I sent it back.!!===== UPDATE===After complained that only received one, Customer Service contacted me to and told me to keep te light and they will send me another. I told them that I shipped the light back because I needed the light for my daughter 6th birthday. They offered to solve the problem and send me a set of 4 lights as a gift to my daughter. Even thought, the lights they offered were not the same I originally purchased. The set they send me were great! I set up the 4 lights in a small room in my basement and they worked and used the music feature. The party was a blast, all kids were dancing and they loved the lights.Thank you for the gift, definitely the lights worth and worked great as I needed.

It would be great for a DJ that has to bring his own lighting to a show or party or wedding. It even comes with a remote control.

I'm a big fan of these, so when my old one broke, I got this one (the single/larger one). The lights are amazing. It's definitely a newer model. This one had more lights than my last one. It's super responsive to music. This thing is a party starter! I use my own speaker, not the one built in. It has a remote with tons of settings so that you can choose single color/changing color/motor speed/etc. Also, I contacted the seller to ask a few questions and the support team got immediately back to me. I've been buying these from different sellers for years, so if I seem extra happy, it's because I've gone through a lot of clunkers from other sellers...so I'm happy I found one that delivers!

I purchased these without any high hopes for them but they are pretty cool! Give lots of light given their size and remote is easy to use to change colors or make them flash to the music beat. Have to be close to sound source for this to work. I have 2 and they don’t cover a huge amount of space but for my household use they are fun and perfect.

My 3 year old likes to turn it on and have a dance party. It fills the living room and is fun. I also mounted a couple of these to a light stand (I had to drill the hole in the bracket a little larger to fit the bolt) along with a couple fun pattern lights and used them at an elemtary school party. They did pretty well in the dark gym filling the room with light. The pic and video are from that party. Keep in mind on the video that there are other lights as well, but the rotating lights are from 2 of this type.

I absolutely loved this disco light. I used it for a birthday party. My family and all party guests loved it to. With music it was very fun. After the party, we used here and there for the kids' entertainment--but, after a while, we barely used. It sat for about a month and now it doesn't work at all. I'm not sure if it's the remote or the actual light and since you need the remote to work the thing either way it's useless. I'm very disappointed, especially since it's too late to even get my money back. If it is the remote, it's sad because the particular battery isn't something people use or buy on a regular bases and it's hardly been used for that battery to be dead. It's also sad that the light can't manually be turned on without the remote. What a waste of money!
