The part itself worked perfectly, fit like a glove and fixed the horrible squeaking on hte dryer that was passed along to me. A WORD OF WARNING: I recommend using the original screws instead of the ones provided with this kit. The screws that came with this are very cheap, the metal is quite soft so they strip very easily. Not a deal breaker just a warning because it might save you the frustration of having to try to remove a stripped screw.

If your dryer is making a ton of noise, this product is probably NOT what you need to fix it. The FRONT bearings which are really a plastic circular form with teflon glides on it is probably the real problem. Fix that first and see if that doesn't take care of it. $38 or so.This product didn't seem as good as the original, but I didn't use it because the original bearings were just fine.

Not good at all very cheap. U could tell is straight out of China, I mean mostly everything comes out of China, but this item you could really tell. It's cheaply made. The nut kept coming off when the the dryer would tumble and then u would hear the drum bouncing all over because the drum bearing kept coming lose. I don't recommend this item at all. Save your money.

Two problems: The bracket mounting to the back of the dryer did not include an alignment slot for the spring-clip antistatic contact, like the previous bracket. Also the plastic bearing itself, the key component in this kit, is shorter than the previous bearing. Could be a better kit, but it still seems to work fine.

Had to reuse original screws. The self tapper screws that came with the kit were to soft to even tap the included plate. The head broke off of the first screw I tried and the second screw I tried stripped out before it was even snug. After that I just went back to using the dryers original rusty dull screws and they handled the plate fine.

I was able to repair my 20 year old dryer with these parts. Very easy to install and comes with everything you need.
