This book teaches us how to make mixes as gift in your kitchen. It combines a well-liked trend with an enticing homemade gift that is sure to win over everyone. The suggestions are straightforward and will make wonderful presents.The book's introduction, which includes instructions and a list of materials you'll need in addition to the ingredients, is excellent. But, there are no photographs in the recipe area, leaving you with no idea of what your finished product should look like. I don't think that's very logical.This book provides me some ideas, but I'll probably hunt for a better one with pictures.

I was looking for meals in a jar storage but this is partial meals with much to add later! This is more of a gift book, not what I'm looking for

This is a practical guide for making a thoughtful, relatively inexpensive gift for thise special people in your life. It's also a great backup when that unexpected guest arrives. Simply use your premade mix to quickly bake fresh treats. When they want to know how they were lucky enough to arrive at just the right time, you can smile mysteriously or give them a jar to take home, depending in your mood or personality. Having a jar party where each person bakes treats and brings a jar for each person there is a great way to try new recipes, as well as enjoy a time if felliwship with others. Just make sure you have copies of the recipe attached, or you may wind up getting lots of phone calls!

It's all right, I mean it's a pretty good book, just so short that I, an obsessive bookworm, went through it pretty fast. And the recipe s, not so easy to follow when I attempted one. And have you, Mrs. Scott, ever heard of botulism? I recommend learning about it. Bot spores are so poisonous that I read that 16 ounces can kill everybody in the world. Bot shows up a lot in canned food that's not pressure canned. Wait, is it pressure canned? Idk .... I forgot. Well, anyway, nice book overall. Nice job. 💁💁

This is a way cool book - I found it on one of the forums and had to try it.You get recipes for:Cookies and barsBreadsDipsSaucesSoupsSpice mixes (including a rub I can't wait to try)Jams and JelliesI am sure there are more but it is really a good place for those last minute gifts. I found a great drop cookies I am going to put together for my daughter as they are very close to the ones I make - she never has the coconut on hand so I am hoping this will allow her to make then and not call me for them!All around good deal

I liked this book. I'm going to try to adapt some of my gluten free recipes to do the same. I particularly liked the idea of making a pre-mix for different cream soups followed by recipes for each. Several of the gift ideas for sweets including seasoning mixes and chocolate reindeer drops look fun. The author is skilled in creating highly presentable gifts as well.

This book is fabulous. I have another book in a similar vein, but the recipes are not really useful for everyday cooking. I also have a couple of books about cooking gifts. However, I would trade all 4 or 5 of those books for this one book. This book is full of recipes which cover lots of tastes and lots of variety with both sweet and savoury options. I would highly recommend it, I use it frequently, and once I've given the gifts, have the recipients ask me where I got the "idea"..........do I tell them it's not my 'creation ' or do I show them my book...........

I can finally make the gifts I have been given for years at birthday parties and weddings. Inside are starters for soups to sauces. There are pies to smores and hot chocolate. It also shows how to layer them to make them look their best. Enjoy and let's get to crafting.

What a fantastic book, great ideas as christmas presents or great for making and storing as something quick and easy to occupy the kids over the holidays.

This eBook is filled with many types of jar recipe ideas.Well thought out, with instructions included for properly filling jars,decorative ideas for lid toppers, etc..., label ideas and links to templates and a good variety of easy to assemble recipe mixes.I'm taking off one star as I found the sweet mixes a bit heavy on sugar but that's an easy to make adjustment and just my own personal preference. What a nice book. I haven’t made every recipe yet but the ones I did try were easy & I had every ingredient in my pantry!
