Product Description The original uncut version of director Tobe Hooper's blood-splattering classic, based on the true-life exploits of serial killer Ed Gein. A group of five teenagers drive down to Texas to check that their grandfather's grave is intact and stumble upon a farmhouse inhabited by a family of unemployed slaughterhouse workers, including the grisly 'Leatherface' (Gunnar Hansen), who wears a mask made of human flesh and wields a fearsome chainsaw.

.genuine classic horror brilliant
a classic of its era , should be in anyone's top ten horror films of all time , enjoyed looking back at this movie after quite a few years of not managing to see it the key to the film is that it was way above its time with a setting which is vital to any horror classic the characters tobe hooper selected at the time were relatively unknown but stay in the mind and have become legendary , leatherface will remain one of the most frightening characters in horror history , the film is a legendary tale and will remain so . .

Very disappointing film
Very disappointed. I expected more as the film is noted of one of the classics. I only have given it two stars as it was quite disappointing but still a gory film.

Good product, wrong version
It's a great fil, I really enjoyed it,. however I was a bit disappointed with the version they gave to me. I ordered this DVD thinking it was going to be the special edition version which it was being advertised as, but instead I got one which wasn't special edition nor looked like how it was on the website. Besides from that it was a great buy

This was for my mum. It was okay, am not really into this sort of stuff. She thought it was okay aswel. At least she has it on dvd not video.
