Love. It.
Absolutely love it. Old school basshead since ‘94, this is one of the best subs I’ve ever owned. I like grown up sound these days. I wanted great overall sound that us old heads love, but still with enough bottom to make the young folks envious at a red light… HippoXL definitely takes care of that part.

Break in smell is horrible. Speaker sounds amazing
Sounds very good. I purchased this months ago and did open air break in for 24 hours then in box break in on 1000 watts for a month. Now it’s running on a skar 2000.1 (2000rms). Blows the doors off the truck. If you’re gonna run this much power you have to be careful, extra battery/ group 31 battery is needed as well as a bigger alternator. This will drain your car till it volt cuts the amp. Puts out serious levels of sound though, tuned to 25hz, absolute chaos. I’ve had to glue down the door panels and switch panels, it knocked a window out of track. Do be warned though, it makes a lot of smells the first couple weeks. Smells very bad.

These speaker is one of my favorite I’ve had!! Running dual on 0.5ohm and they don’t play they shake the doors

Awsome sub but basket was broke
Subs a badass and very well built. But I got the sub and the basket was broke and the the otter ring where u screw in was cracked
