Lovely soft wool more like an Aran than DK. Beautiful colours just a little loosely spun. I used for a crocheting project and it came up lovely but you had to make sure the hook went through each stitch as with it being a little loosely spun it was easy to miss some of the strands to a stitch. Quite thick and more like an Aran weight wool, very soft and warm.

Easy to knit with for a novice.Yarn does tend to fluff up a bit after wearing the item. But I guess most yarn like this would do.

Lovely yarn to work with and nice and soft. But, many of the red/cranberry bits have black fluff kind of wound round them which is difficult to get off, and there seem to be a lot of knots/joins - I counted 9 in my skein! But overall I would recommend as the knots are almost indetectable if you trim the ends with tiny scissors

Absolutely my favourite yarn, made a shawl and it turned out fantastic, I would say it's a medium weight, lovely to work with, when I ordered I needed multiple balls and was concerned about lot numbers but all came from the same lot/dye number

Second purchase of this Scarfie yarn, lovely soft yarn which has made 2 lovely crochet scarfs for presents.

This yarn is really soft, and will make lovely warm garments - however, the ‘ball’ falls apart if you look at it, and the fibre is quite loosely spun, it tries to felt itself together when any part of it moves and in some places the strand just completely unspins and you have to try to attach the ends to each other again

Lovely colour for a special request for a scarf. It works so easily with my Addi Machine.

I am used to working with cotton so this was difficult to crochet with to start, but I soon got into it and managed not only a scarf but also a beanie hat out of the ball. Delighted!

This is a really nice yarn! Not itchy and the colors are vibrant! bought two for a friend and they were exactly as expected.

The yarn is soft and is supposed to be enough for a whole scarf. The scarf drapes beautifully. I love the Scarfie fiber content. It is my personal opinion that natural fibers are the best insulation in winter. This has just enough wool content in it to retain softness but give you that little extra omph as far as warmth goes.
