I am SO GLAD i found this!
I have a WD TV Live Media player. i bought it, ph my, 5 or 6 years ago? i know, old, but it functions so much better than some of the other cheap $30 media players out there (thought it is starting to have problems with YouTube, so my guess is it will be completely obsolete before long, but it works good with a hard drive full of movies).One day the remote that came with the WD TV LMP was dropped one too many times, and you could hear it rattling inside. Uh Oh.No more remote. no way to turn it on. Looked on Amazon and a replacement WD TV LMP for the newer version was almost $400 bucks. Yeah, that was not going to happen. all i can figure is they do not want to sell them. So i went with one of those 'other' media players. dropped about $50 on one that could supposedly play any format, operated on an android platform, and you could supposedly download other playing apps from the play store. NOPE. kids could not download Disney +, and for the regular Disney app, you could download it, it appeared to install. no way to launch it though. so it went back, and i looked for a replacement.then a friend of mine suggested looking for another remote. Duh! Did not think of that. looked, and found this baby. i was a little set back by the low price, but for the money, i figured i had nothing to lose and could always send it back if it did not work with my older player.Put the batteries in...held my breath...and my WD TV LMP came to life! YES! saved the cost of buying a new media player.why 4 stars? because this remote is TINY, and i DO mean TINY. 4 inches long tip to stern. 1 1/4" left to right. PERFECT size to get lost in a couch cushion. also has no "weight' to it so when manipulating it in your hand to push the buttons, it is easy to lose your grip on it.functions perfectly though

Western digital remote- if box quits - try first.
Product arrived next day. Perfect / exact replacement - thought my BOX had failed. But it was the remote control- try first. Always.

Works well
Works at least as well as the orginal. Smaller size does take some getting used to.

Buy a Blu-ray player that’ll do the same thing
Supposed to be exact replacement did absolutely nothing. Brand new batteries and nothing. What a waste.
