This thing is awesome! Not just for paper planes!
This thing is super cool! Paper planes fly great. I've experimented with different paper airplane designs and even works with Balsa Wood Gliders!Got a 17 in wingspan Guillows plane and attached 2 kits to each side of the wings. One remote will pair with 2 kits at the same time, which makes flying a 17 in balsa wood plane possible. One kit did fly the plane but barely. So attached 2 and flies like a dream and will go super high.My 5 year old loves these planes, but you do need a big open area otherwise they will get caught in the trees. Can't recommend these kits enough! My sister is a teacher and I donated 22 kits to her classroom so she can teach her 4th graders about the physics of planes.

Easy and fun!
Kids can do this, easily. The QR code-linked videos show exactly how to build it. Plus, it is super simple. It flies nicely. You'll need to move the battery forward or rearward a little for balance. The controls work nicely. The throttle is not spring-loaded. The steering is spring-loaded back to center. Two batteries is a very nice touch.

Fun kit to fly in open area
BriCool RC Paper Plane, Remote Control DIY Airplane KitA pretty fun little kit. There are 4 sheets of pre-marked paper for making the plane. The thrust bracket attaches with included double-faced tape. There are 2 rechargeable batteries for plenty of flight time.I'd recommend this for ages 10+. The thrust bracket, and propellers are fragile. The batteries have a very small connector which is used when charging or attaching to the plane. It would have been nice for the kit to include more then 1 design for the airplane. There are 4 sheets of paper (2 red, 2 blue) which are pre-marked - all with the same design. The paper is fairly thin, but the wing position is reinforced by the bracket on the trust unit. The thrust unit, while fairly light, is still pretty heavy for a paper plane. So you need a design with a fair amount of wing. The old "dart" design won't work too well.It would have been nice to include a small protector for the nose of the plane. This will almost certainly get crunched quickly. You'll need a few test flights just to stabilize it. The battery fits in a slot, and instructions indicate to shift the battery forward/back to adjust the balance. This isn't designed for indoors - it needs some room. Outside on a day with no wind, or possibly indoors in a large gymnasium.

Great little kit
The little paper airplanes fly great with the electronics kit in large open areas inside. I got this for my friend's son, and he is getting to live out his dreams of flying his paper airplanes like real RC planes! He has also been able to modify the kit to fly some custom airplanes too!

Awesome idea.
Great little kit. I was a little too old for my six year old but nevertheless, if I made the planes it works quite well. Definitely geared more toward older kids - maybe ten and up - and takes some practice to figure out. But the paper is very forgiving of crashes and easy to rebuild when needed. This is a great idea and I look forward to continuing to play around and fly with it. Good for older kids or adults who enjoy to play.

Bad idea….
It breaks down in 5 mins of use. I would return it but the window crossed. Avoid buying this… no matter how much you fly RC this is a bad idea. Interesting concept.

Was surprised at how well it flys
I have been enjoying slow flying 2 channel planes in my back yard right around dusk for awhile now. I saw this as a chance to try some paper plane designs, as well as 3d printed planes. The default paper and fold is easy for anyone to follow, while being extremely forgiving, more so than the flying. That said, flight is just as good as my best 2 channel planes.

Great introduction to flight
I was a little skeptical this would really work very well, but it's a great little toy. We got it as a gift for a 11yo and he immediately took to it. It was easy for him to assemble with a little supervision. It will fly for quite a while on one charge. The controls are easy to use and intuative. It not for indoors however; it requires a large area and needs a relatively calm day outside to fly it.I like that it really encourages creativity and experimentation. It's not just a toy that is used once and set aside, but more designs can be imagined and tried out. A great toy for getting a young person interested in flight and the dynamics of it.
