It is one piece. That allows it to be sturdier and flexible at the same time. It costs a few dollars more than the hinged paper towel holders, but is well worth it. Easy to install, but I would recommend you use smaller length screws than are provided because it may pierce the inside of a cabinet to which it is being attached.

I have one of these in my laundry room for 16+ years. Still working great and holds paper towels snug enough so a bunch don't just spin off the roll when you pull one off. Needed one for another room and searched on line and found it! It's clear so you don't notice it on the wall or under cabinet. Definitely recommend this holder.

This was easy to install and works great so far. I hope it lasts a while but it seems to be made sturdy!

Let's not get carried away, folks, it's just a paper towel holder! But it costs just a few bucks, does the job, looks good, is easy to install, and is easy to load. Don't think on this too much more, just buy the thing.

It is sturdy plastic. Not fancy like wood or steel ones, but if you've ever had those types, you will know they are very annoying and the paper towel roll tends to drag down wasting paper towels because there isn't enough tension to hold the roll tight. I bought a "fancier" steel one to replace a walmart one that was similar to this except the plastic wasn't as thick. Then I figured I'd try amazon since I couldn't find one similar to my first plastic one in store. Not fancy, but does the trick and doesn't annoyingly drag the roll loosely or make the roll all poofy and messy since the roll stays in place with just enough grip.

I don't like bad design. this item was very loose to hold the towels tight. I had to put washers under the furthest points on the outside edges where the screw holes are to make the item pinch tighter to hold the paper towels. it is very strong. always go with a one-piece holder as the two piece are junk. This will last a long time but you will need to WEDGE the edges down from the bottom of a cupboard or away from a wall to pinch the towels. they would fall off if this is not done. LAME.

I guess what I like most about this paper towel holder is that it has a cap on each end that fits into the paper towel. In fact I didn't realize how fantastic that is until now because the paper towel doesn't wobble in the holder unlike all the other paper towel holders that I bought; all of them are simple pole that the paper towel just swivels all over the place. I just thought it looks really good mounted on the side of my mirror cabinet in the washroom. Now that I have reviewed this paper towel holder I will be buying another one to replace the one that I bought for the kitchen which is just a bar that allows the paper towel to unravel itself. Practico y adatable de acuerdo a la necesidad ya que lo puedes instalar arriba, abajo o aun lado. Si recomendo la instalación con tornillos por lo que hay que tomarlo en cuenta para el lugar donde se va a poner. El material es de plastico pero no es frágil.
