This is pro-level equipmant, my friends. It has it all - accuracy, noise free, frequency response, connectivity, and all the controls you need to dial it in to match your monitors. I've been at this for 15 years. Yamaha knows sound. Everything I've ever purchased from them, which is considerable, is well thought out by actual engineers and beautifully executed. This sub is no exception. For it's level of quality it is not expensive at all, but if you're an enthusiastic amateur like myself you'll feel a little pinch to the pocketbook.
