I wish I could use this hinge in my storm door, but it is intended to fit in a 1-1/4" wide recess and the two doors that I have only have space for those flimsy 3/4" hinges. So measure your door before ordering!! I returned my hinges and was charged about $4.50 return postage by Amazon! For hinges that would fit in an envelope. My Prime membership did not help. Nowhere in the item description did I find the actual dimensions of the hinge; just an Amazon's Choice banner and a note saying that most customers do not return the hinges. Good hinges, but buyer beware.

Very easy to install

My original hinges got bent when my grandson forced the door closed with the throw rug caught up in the threshold. And the hinges bent, so the door wouldn't close. Went to Lowe's and Home Depot, and they didn't carry the correct hinge. So I went on line, bought a set of three, and three days later, they arrived by mail. Now the door closes easily.....and the throw rug was put in the trash can!

Finally found a door hinge that fits our small greenhouse door. During a windy afternoon, our g.house door flung open, breaking one of the metal door hinges. Went to the supplier who sells these greenhouse parts & was not happy with their shipping fee..... part cost $5.00, it's aluminum, but they wanted $18.00 just for shipping, plus the part. It's the principal, right!Shopped around and these hinges worked; only needed one. Now we have two extra in case the others break.

Replaced broken hinges on the front door everything about the hinge matched up, but for some reason, the door is harder to shut.
