I’m really impressed with how accurate and detailed the readings are in Smart scale. Unlike regular bathroom scales, this one measures much more than just weight—it gives insights into body fat, muscle mass, BMI, bone mass, and even visceral fat. The HD LED display is a huge plus because it shows key metrics right on the scale, so I don’t always have to check the app. Speaking of the app, Fit Profile is very easy to set up and syncs seamlessly with Apple Health, Fitbit, and Google Fit, making it simple to track progress over time.Another thing I love is that it supports multiple users, so my family can use it too, and it automatically recognizes who is stepping on the scale. I bought this because I know GE makes DEXA machines, so I figured it must be accurate considering they would have all the data to calibrate with. It seems departments must not communicate because this is about as inaccurate as it possibly could be. Honestly it seems like it’s mostly ballparking it based on height and weight with only a small input of electrode data.I regularly get inBody scans and have a long history of data, which I therefore trust. With athlete mode off, this read hilariously high body fat percent. With athlete mode on, hilariously low. I ended up purchasing the Withings (just the base model, not segment analysis, due to cost). With athlete mode on in my case, the Withings is incredibly accurate.

If you don’t have easy access to an InBody, or thousands of dollars of disposable income, this GE scale is definitely an adequate alternative. I’ve been looking for a home smart scale with electrode handles ever since I started getting InBody measurements at my gym, and fortunately this one popped up.It does offer very good value with a user-friendly app that syncs super quickly via Bluetooth (once the app is open and you step on the scale, it will start updating in real time), and gives you detailed metrics like body fat percentage, muscle mass, and weight. The app layout is intuitive, but I don’t 100% love the way it presents some of the data. While not as precise as the InBody machine, I’ve found the measurements are within an acceptable range for general fitness tracking, especially if I just stick to using it on a weekly basis. It’s a solid option for home usage and won’t break the bank. We compared the measurements to our aging Withings scale and the GE product was definitely closer to the InBody readings

This scale is great. I have been wanting to get a scale that does the full body mark up for a while and While its a bit more money than i would have liked to have spent, its still on the cheaper side compared to other brands. The smart app worked great on my phone (android) and was easy to set up. It tranfers the data from the scale easily. It looks very sleek. The wand that comes up from the scale is very discreet and pops right back into place so that its not hanging out of the scale on the floor. As far as i can tell the readings are accurate. Ive checked my weight and body fat count several times since i have had it. The readings have been consistant. I also found that it works for weighing smaller items like i weighed my dog and a frozen turkey (Not at the same time). Its miles above the smart scale i had been using that only took weight. If you need a smart scale that also reads more like bodyfat percentage, i reccomend this one.
