The Medieval Scapini Tarot Cards – December 1, 2005

The most beautiful deck I have ever had the pleasure of using. They are large cards, and I have small hands, but it's just so darn pretty. The pictures are straight to the point, so if you are forgetful (like I am) and cannot possibly remember all 78 cards, the pictures can help you remember their meaning. They come in a fancy box, inside a holder, inside a sleeve, with a booklet and a template for a card layout (a spread). So a beginner can use this too. Not too keen on the booklet personally (its a little wishy-washy) but that's a personal preference.

I've been using this deck since 1988 and just recently purchased a backup deck in case the first one ever starts falling apart. This means I still have and use my original deck from all those years ago. I have had a lot of other decks over the years, but this is the only one I really like and keep coming back to for actually doing readings. The images are wonderful and the cards withstand heavy use and last a long time. If you're an intuitive reader (especially) this is a great deck to have. Also a great deck to learn with because it will help you get past the memorize-regurgitate-repeat phase of reading cards.

This deck is one of a kind. Quirky, fun and SO to the point, it is downright scary. Very unusual art and depictions of cards but imo, one deck that should not be passed by. Card stock is stury too. :)

It came perfectly packaged and on time. The pictures are not like what I am used to so I am still learning, but all in all it is a beautiful deck and worth every penny.
