Different product on the same link
First you should notice that the seller changed the product that was sold on the same link. I bought this pair about a year ago and the current item is different than the original. The name is FreedConn and the model is T-COMSC, number 040119. See picture. This challenges the credibility of the seller. The Bluetooth intercom is used to listen to Google maps instruction and music on the helmet and it works fine for that. I listen to it while wearing protecting ear pads, so on those conditions it works better on speeds under 50mph; above that I can’t hear much from it, which is acceptable to me.Pairing is a little confusing especially if you can’t find the original printed manual (why not adding a link to the pdf version on the item instead of a printed manual?). I found one at fccid.io under model T-COMVB. The secret to enter pairing mode is to turn it off and hold the ON button for 8s.The headset clip sometimes doesn’t stay perfectly firm on my Built Evolution helmet and once it fell while I was riding in the freeway; luckily it was hanging and I had to park on the shoulder to readjust it.The mic worked ok once I had to make a phone call. But I avoid doing it to keep my full attention on the road. One annoying thing is when I ride by my wife’s car, my iPhone very often disconnects from it and connects to her car, so I wonder why does that happen, since iPhone doesn’t have an explicit “priority list”.I would recommend to beware of this seller

Not bad for the price, works well once set up
So this was a test product for us as we did not want to spend tons of money to see if we like it or if it would work for us. This guy works pretty good. the tricky part as others have mentioned is the initial set up, as with most products the instructions tend to not be very good. So far on the trips we have used it on as an intercom to talk between each other, used it for about 2 hours, then another 1-2 hours then another around 6 hours on the same charge and we have not had to charge it again yet. One issue that will be likely with them all is selecting the buttons/options when wearing it as you can not see it, so you have to go by feeling and remembering where each button is and for what, does not help when wearing gloves. the only other thing that bugs me is if you have more than 2 only 2 riders can talk together at a time but I believe to get ones taht all paired riders can talk to gather is like 3-4 times the cost per pair. other than that great so far! There is a review by a guy named Austin that posted this " Pairing a unit with another unit: Make sure both units are off. Press and hold the on button (it has the emblem of a motorcycle on it) on both units until both units start to blink rapidly red and blue. Once both units are blinking rapidly, release the buttons, and short press the on button on one of the units. That unit will start to flash blue. Once both units are connected, they will begin to flash blue at the same time, this means they are connected. Now to talk with the other rider, press the on button and wait about 2 seconds, at this time you will hear a series of beeps, then you can communicate with each other. To pair with more than 2 units, make sure both units are off, now here is where it gets tricky. On the main unit, which ever one you didn't short press after the rapid blinking, and hold the on button until it blinks rapidly red and blue. On the other unit, hold the button with whatever letter you want it assigned to and hold until blinking rapidly red and blue. REMEMBER TO HOLD BOTH BUTTONS AT THE SAME TIME. Once both units are blinking, short press the same lettered button and let them connected.

More than good for the price
Very good for the price. The pairing is easy and it will re-pair automatically every time. Very easy to use.The volume suffers when your going on the freeway, but I think that will be similar with other brands, even more expensive ones. The only real problem, is the mounting, it easyly falls from the cradle with little touches (not with the wind fortunately).

Great battery life, fantastic price for what you get!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these. Bought them a few months ago and have a ton of hours on them!1.) Battery Life - Unbelievable. Whether you're taking a road trip talking back and forth or are streaming music the entire trip, the battery on these things is crazy good! Recently took them on an 8 hour road trip. Used them the entire trip talking back and forth.2.) Sound - Very decent sound. Have used them on a windy day doing highway speed and have been able to hear my music or talk to another rider very easily.3.) Mounting - Relatively easy. Back plate seems a bit cheap and you have to be a bit careful mounting it but after it is mounted and the screws are tightened up it has held up really well.4.) Button Layout - When I first started using these I found that the buttons were small and hard to find when riding. After about a month I got familiar with the buttons that I use lots and now it is ok.5.) Connectivity - Connects to your phone via bluetooth. Instructions that come with them are horrendous. Ended up googling them watching videos on Youtube to figure out how to use them. Once I got the just of them it was easy. You turn them on and they automatically connect and it seems seamless.6.) Range - Range between two comms is very good. About a mile if it is clear or a quarter mile if not very clear sight.Final notes:If you're looking for a great starter comms setup then this is the ticket for the price. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to drop a ton of money on a SENA rig which does the exact same as these do.

Very happy with is product
I bought this product 2 years ago and still works. It's very clear and connection is about 1 kilometer as advertised. Very happy with is product.I broke the plate that holds the unit to the helmet (my fault for not loosening the screws). I contacted the supplier if I can purchase the piece without the rest of the unit. I got a response back within an hour and they will contact me next week when it's ready for shipping. Using velcro for now and hope I don't lose this unit.Very good customer service I must say!!!

You get what you pay for.
The audio quality is not very good. Have not checked the max range as I am already considering other options.I won't say it's a bad product, just compared with the cost of other systems, you are getting what you paid for with this one. This is not a "same tech as the brand names at 1/4 the price" deal.

This is a great intercom system
This is a great intercom system. Just came back from a 3300 km trip with the wife and it worked perfectly. Like others have said it's hard to hear over 80 mph because of wind noise but that's the same with any intercom I've had. Under 80 sound was clear. The manual is a joke, but once you figure out what buttons to push it works perfectly (to turn on hold "motorcycle" button till red light turns blue, press "motorcycle" button once to talk). I don't know why anyone would want to spend 2 or 3 times as much for an intercom.

Very good
Works great, did a 1500km trip and was able to talk with my girlfriend all the way, drove for 5hours and battery was still good, also able to listen music from your phone or answer calls and works great, easy to install and i like the facts that if you want to put it on another helmet later you can since its not a stick mount
