Snapware Snap 'N Stack Square Layer Seasonal Ornament Storage Container, 12 by 12-Inch

I LOVE this container! I initially bought it to house my amiibo collection, and it perfectly fits them all in there(I have approximately 20). Even the bigger ones fit in there without having to lay them down of angle them or anything like that (e.g. King K. Rool, Incineroar, Ridley all fit just fine standing upright). I use the cardboard dividers provided to spread the amiibos apart a bit, so I have 16 amiibos in the top and the rest in the second layer. So the math would suggest it can hold 48 amiibos if you use the cardboard dividers; you can probably fit a few more if you don't use the dividers.To my pleasant surprise, I was also able to fit several of my souvenir coffee mugs (standard 11oz size). I currently store six11oz mugs sitting upright, and 2 larger mugs (15oz each) on their sides, all in the bottom layer of the container (at least until I get more amiibo...). I don't use the cardboard dividers for this layer.It's a little heavy at this point, and I'm not certain how much I trust the plastic to carry the weight (though at least some of that caution is from my own anxiety, not necessarily the product quality); for this reason I'm not sure I would recommend using this as a carrying case, but for storage purposes, it's perfect. I'm able to keep my collection tucked away when I'm not playing, but can easily access the amiibos I need whenever I want to. The only flaw I've noticed is that the top part (the green lid) doesn't seem to fully snap around the top layer; however, it does stay locked in place, so I don't anticipate any dust will get in. Excellent purchase, and I would absolutely buy it again should my collection grow larger.

Great Item used for Disney Infinity Characters and Playset pieces!Love being able to open only the compartment I want to get an item from without having to dig through a pile!Dimensions:The most asked question is what is the inside "height" of each compartment or how tall is it inside?- Each tray is about 4 1/4" (inches)- Top tray with Lid gives you more clearance at just shy of 5" (inches); around the outer edges. (the center sinks in a little).Currently the tallest figure is Maleficent (from Disney Infinity 2.0); measuring in at almost exactly 4 1/4" (inches). She fits fine each of the lower trays but I don't like that she touches the top, therefore I put her in the top tray with the lid. Tinker Bell comes in just shy of Maleficent (with her wings).The larger characters that make for tight compartments are: Wreck it Ralf, Hulk, Venom, and Baymax (from the 2.0 set). Although this is the case the cardboard is flexible and compartments can be made larger with the extra slits they have made.It is expected that Iron Man - Hulk Buster from the upcoming 3.0 character set will be Larger than any of the largest 2.0 characters and will need an extreme amount of space!For the price, this beats any Disney Infinity specially made cases out there that are either sold exclusively by Toys R Us or directly by the manufacturers.PS: I'm sure this works great for Sky landers, Nintendo Amibos, and the new Lego Dimension characters as well.

I own 2 of these boxes already and wanted another one to store the ever growing amount of tree ornaments we have and so I ordered from Amazon and it arrived in a huge box so it was well protected.The cardboard dividers are still not the greatest thing and I wish they were plastic, but at this price I didn't expect them to have upgraded from cardboard to plastic in all honesty.The 3 trays clip together very tightly and I've had no issues with putting them together like some other people have said.I find that if one of the trays isn't clipping together easily, I just rearrange the order and they fit fine.I would advise anyone getting one of these to treat it tike you might a baby and have one hand on the handle and another underneath the bottom just for added safety, but I've never had a problem yet.Would definitely recommend this as it's great how you can stack them on top of each other in a closet!

Really like them

I really like the idea of these boxes and, depending on how the latches hold up, I would buy it again. BUT it's not really obvious from images that the dividers are cardboard and I had to vacuum out the bins before setting them up because there were bits of cardboard all over. The dividers do not go all the way to the grooves created on the sides of the bins (it even says so on the set-up instructions), which makes the dividers slide a little bit around, and also it's a little awkward setting them up. It would be nice if they used corrugated plastic dividers that went to the edges of the box. I like that you can customize how big or small you need the sections to be. I'm really excited to get my ornaments out of their individual boxes, layered in bins and into this nice, organized container. I hope the cardboard and the snap-latches hold up.

These are a fantastic way to store multiple small items. My husband and I collect Christmas Ornaments from all of our vacations so we can remember each trip and all the stories attached as we hang the ornament on the tree. After years of trips you can imagine the amount of ornaments we've collected. After one ornament from our travels was "injured" (and it's not like we can just pop back to the Philippines to replace it) I knew we needed another storage solution. Insert the Snapware Snap 'N Stack. Although the cardboard inserts don't quite reach the edges or the grooves made into the plastic they are easy to manipulate to fit varying size objects. I also love how each layer can be unsnapped and removed. It's a relief to know that our collection is protected in the mega closet where they are stored and our risk of "injury" has diminished greatly! Would definitely purchase again!
