American Greetings Single Panel Blank Cards with Envelopes, Bright Colors, Patterns and Shapes (40-Count)

The media could not be loaded.  I was totally fooled when I bought this by the title. I believe that the title is completely misleading when it says it's an 80 count. Read the fine print and you actually only get 40 envelopes, but 80 pieces of paper. Since these are just common notecards I would expect that 80 count meant I got 80 of each. The colors are bright and pleasing but the paper is extremely thin, so if you're OK with that then buy it. However you will only get the opportunity to have 40 envelopes, which is very disappointing and misleading to me.

Who would have thought stationary could be so lousy? Here is the two star positive: The colors are vibrant and pleasing to the eye. Here are the unfortunates about this stationary: The big number one for me was the horrible chemical smell of the paper and the envelopes. Who wants to send a letter to a loved one that stinks so bad it makes a person wretch? I actually tried to fix the problem by misting the paper with Fabreeze. It helped a little but I shouldn't of had to fix any thing. Next is the size problem. I'm sure this is my fault, I thought I read the size of the paper and envelopes but maybe not. They are 1/4 inch too short to fit a check. This is important to me. One more thing. The paper is only colored on one side. No good stationary is one sided. Maybe it said it was but I don't think so. The other big problem I had was the way it was shipped. The stationary came in the kind of box one would expect. A cardboard bottom with the see through plastic top, Fine. What wasn't fine was the way it was packed for shipping. What the heck man, It was shipped in a paper bag with the peal away sticky tab. It was very lightly padded so you can imagine the condition the box was in by the time I received it. I'm not livid life is to short but I was put out.

I wanted some basic, colorful cards that I could have in my closet in case I needed to write a quick note. These cards are blank inside and out, and the outside has a fun colorful decoration. The envelopes are colorful as well. I feel that these are good quality and really cute.

These were perfect for my purposes, but when I ordered I didn't even realize it came with the nice little storage box! Even then, I was happy enough to pay this price just for the cards/envelopes. I'm using these for general thank you notes etc for my freelance work, and they're simple enough not to be too flashy for business purposes, but not so plain as to be boring. Would definitely recommend these and will probably reorder the same ones when I run out.The only "negative" here was that the plastic "cover" for the box was crushed at a corner, but I didn't intend to keep that and the cards/envelopes themselves were completely undamaged. This issue was not at all problematic enough to earn less than the 5 stars I'm giving for this purchase.

These cards were great for what I purchased them for. I am a teacher and wanted to send some cards to students. These are all blank, which is perfect for sending personalized messages. The set comes with a variety of pretty patterned cards and different colored envelopes. The quality is high and I loved the packaging. I would buy again.

I like the variety of the cards, and that they don't have a gloss on them. Gloss makes using a gel pen difficult so that is a great bonus. The envelopes are a little on the thin side, but the color saturation on them is okay so no worries about someone trying to see through if you use all the space inside the card and have to add to the back. I like them and would buy the set again.

Kinda flimsy. I like that it has a holder. Like the bold colors. One side of the card is solid color, one side is the design. I dont think they're worth $8 though. Maybe $5 max.

They are bright and beautiful and exactly what I needed for notecards. The envelopes fit well and don't have a nasty taste.

Canada post wouldn’t let me send due to the size. They’re cute but idk what to do with them if I can’t mail them.

I used this with a fine nib and no special ink and it worked well. The dry time was about average. The paper does feel lightly coated, similar to Rhodia paper.EnvelopesThe envelopes are rather thin. I can see the pattern of the cards in the envelope, under indoor lighting. However, they do feature the Iconic American greetings Tulip embossed near the tip of the triangle edge (as pictured in my photo). I do like the tulip.ConclusionI would recommend this to anyone who wants to do correspondence or give out a card to someone else. Just be aware of the colour issue. Two stars removed for the colour inaccuracies because it is a significant issue.TLDR: Good cards, but dull colour compared to photos . Great for fountain pens.

I paid $20.69, thinking I was getting some great quality paper. It’s okay, but does not fit a 4x6 photo like I was hoping. Produce seems brighter than the picture too.But here is the stickler: I flipped the box over and the MSRP is $11.50. I get that shipping prices have to come from somewhere but an almost double the mark up?!And then to return is going to cost $7.39. Ugh.

These cards were beautiful. But the original price tag (of $8.00) was on there which really made me angry since I paid nearly double that! Returned

Will order again. Great messages can be written for young or old
