Helen's Asian KitchenSalt Box with Lid and Spoon, Natural Bamboo; Approximately 7-Ounce Capacity

I bought five of these to give as gifts. I found a really great source of sea salt (It is so much better for you than that regular salt). All five were in excellent condition. Shipped quickly and a great price. The size is perfect at 7 oz. I add the fine sea salt to my filtered water(just a pinch) ...so, it needs to be handy...right on the counter.

This is re the bamboo salt box. This is great, so pretty, I like the alternating wood grains, the size, the hinge sliding lid and the built in spoon has a little notch that doesn’t interfere w closing. It’s a nice size so holds a good amount of salt, allows enough room to pinch out to portion or use the spoon. My complaint that reduces this by one star is the huge sticker that is very difficult to remove. This is a pretty item that is meant to be displayed, there is already a sticker on the base but the additional sticker label covers literally half the circumference of the jar and does not remove easily. Comes off in tiny shards and I scratched the box a few times scraping off the adhesive .

Product sticker on over 50% of item and it has to be scrapped off then the residue removed with alcohol. Not a great idea.

I'll never understand why companies put impossible-to-remove labels on food storage and preparation items. The salt box is fine but prepare to spend an hour trying to remove the label that's adhered with construction epoxy mixed with Gorilla glue and road tar.

Looks nice and is easy to use with the included spoon. I have bamboo accessories on my kitchen counter, so this fit right in. A magnetic closure on the lid holds it fast so it won't open by accident, but is easily accessed when you want your salt. I took one star off for the horrible way the label is glued to the outside of the item. I mean, that bad boy was almost impossible to remove...had to use a solvent and a scrubber to get it all off! Hey, why not afix the lable to the outside of the shrink-wrap and make life easier for everyone?

Very nice salt box, easy to clean and add salt. The spoon is slightly small than I thought. I tear off the sticker on the side and there are several small scratches. I hope it could be perfect but it’s good enough.

Never knew you could grate ginger so well! Size is just right. Grating the ginger works very well, just watch out for the fingers. If you lose the bamboo brush, can use a pastry brush to remove the ginger from the groves. End of a knife would do too, except you might damage the porcelain.

I like this particular salt box as it has a swivel lid that stays attached. No need to take off and replace when possibly your hands are not so clean. Also appreciate it comes with a spoon that nicely stays in place. Also looks very 'cute' on stove top

As soon as I saw this I had to have it! I have numerous Mortar and Pestle sets, and I am very pleased with this one. It performs well, and I love the tall rather than fat size. I find I have less spills. However, if you want a heavy duty mortar and pestle, you are best to go with a harder material, such as marble or granite. This one doesn't crush dried garlic as well as those ones. Overall, does a good job and beautiful.

Everything about the item is great however the top had some damage to it. Looks like it occurred during manufacturing.I reached out to customer service for a replacement but they didn’t reply.

I use it to make ginger tea. It works perfectly and cleans up just under a running tap. Perfect little device and better than the metal ones that I found are hard to clean.
