I bought two as gifts. They smell amazing! The receivers were both really happy.

The candle came well-packaged and would make a good present. Personally, I don't like when scents are overpowering, and this one strikes a nice balance when lit. When you enter the room, it's pleasant, and after a while, you forget it's there. It is a little small for the price, in my opinion, but aside from that, I'm happy with it.

I like to keep candles around my house, especially during the holidays.This candle has an appropriately festive look and scent that in my view is perfect for Christmas without being overdone or looking commercial: It has a very classic, traditional appearance. It's difficult to know for sure, but it appears that the jar is metal on the outside with a glass lining. It has some heft to it, which I like: It would be impossible to knock this over. The scent smells like an evergreen and seems surprisingly natural.I especially like that there's a screw-on lid, so that you can cover it after the holidays if you plan to use it again the following year. With most candles you can't do that and I find that the top can get very dusty.This would make a great casual gift: Recommended.

This candle is a great pick if you're a fan of sweet pine scents! Its fragrance reminds me of Yankee Candle's Balsam & Cedar—a fresh, slightly sweet pine forest scent that's perfect year-round for outdoors enthusiasts. I did a one-hour burn test in my small office, filling the room with a pleasant, not overpowering aroma. The candle's quality is good—the wax is poured smoothly, the wick is well-centered, and I didn't notice any air bubbles trapped in the wax or fragrance oils pooling on the surface. Based on my burn test, I estimate this candle has about 40 hours of burn time. My only small gripe is that the label is difficult to remove if, like me, you prefer a cleaner, label-free look.

It doesn’t give off the scent at all when burning.

It's a nice sized candle, about the size of smaller peanut butter jar. The glass is opaque, which gives a nice glow to the candle holder. I really hate candles that stink up a room, so I was very happy that the scent is somewhat delicate - noticeable, but not overwhelming. The scent is fairly true to its name which is better than many candles. There has been no popping or sputtering as sometimes happens. This will be a nice addition to my Christmas atmosphere.

This candle is really nice. I am always on the lookout for candles that smell like pine trees -- and so few of them actually do. There's usually something mixed in that ruins the experience, and provides a sinister overtone of homeyness, or "holiday cheer," or some such nonsense. Not this candle. It's pure pine-tree joy, with several needly scents mixed together.The candle itself is smaller than many competitors, but true to size in the original description (9oz). The container is plain white opaque glass, with a brushed aluminum (in terms of color; it's probably not aluminum) screw top. Can't wait for the season to progress so I can use it on the regular.

Ordered this Homsolver Pine Candle, Christmas Balsam Fir Candles Scented to use over the holidays with a candle warmer we just reviewed. The candle came well packaged and looks just like the one in the listing images, the box is cardboard and minimalist kind of like the scent on the warmer. It is a warm Christmas tree type scent but not chemically or overpowering. The box itself is printed with 7 oz and the listing says it is a 9 oz candle. Either way it is a little bit small for the price. Comes in a white glass jar with a label on it. I would rate it a middle range candle. As I tested it with a warmer can't comment on how it actually burns.
