Look at the reviews before you buy
That unit didn’t work right. It would not connect to the hotspots on anyone’s phone in my household. It would freeze up and restart by itself. Surprisingly it connected to the WiFi in my house and I downloaded Netflix prime and stars. But the apps would not work on this unit. I bought another unit for my pickup truck made by someone else. It works perfectly. I’m able to connect to my mobile hotspot to watch Netflix stars and prime video no problem. I couldn’t get this unit to work at all so I returned it

Honest review into a 2015 GL63 AMG
The support team was so helpful that I felt compelled to write a review for this. It's a solid 4 stars. Let's review what it is and what it isn't:- This is a Linux-based system, so running any old Android app isn't possible out of the box.- Android Auto and Apple CarPlay both work wired and wirelessly, and the connection is fast and stable.- Wired and wireless AirPlay from an Apple device does work, but the use is limited because it does NOT support HDCP. That means streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney+, etc. do not work. YouTube does work, however, so that's something.- The build quality is "just OK." The vents feel much lower quality than the OEM Mercedes vents, and the fitment of the vents+screen is pretty tight. I actually had to find longer bolts for the final two bolts to hold the screen in place, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to finish the installation. EDIT: I originally thought the screen was plastic, but I discovered it has a very weak screen protector from the factory. I peeled that off and now there's a glossy, strong screen with no scratches!- ALMOST all the original car's functionality works. You can still access the OEM interface, but because I'm using the installation method of the car's AUX to send audio to the car stereo, I lost the ability to pause, go back, and go forward when listening to music using bottons on the stereo and steering wheel. You can route audio to the car stereo using Bluetooth and that would allow you to retain these functions, but the BT in my car is becoming flakey and drops quite often, so I went with the aux method. Besides that, though, all other OEM functionality is there. Automatic rear camera when the car is in reverse, massaging seat adjustments, etc. And the knob on the center control still works to navigate all the OEM functionality.- It was easy to change the default bootup screen to a pretty sweet Mercedes AMG screen :)My primary use case for this installation was to modernize the look of the interior and add CarPlay. This kit does both of those well, so I'm happy with it. If you really want to have more flexibility in what you're able to do, such as streaming movies or installing other Android apps, go look around for other screens and confirm they're based on Android. This Linux-based screen is really only good for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. All of this said, the support team helped me with LOTS of questions and were very quick to response. I don't think I went more than a half day without an answer. Huge props to the team over there for being so great.

Works Great
I bought other brand of screens like this and they could get the right skin resolution. This brand worked great! 16 GLE 350 with system 5.2 - please BE AWARE - when you think your done, your not! You will need to follow instructions to the end otherwise the BT sound will not work when your in apple car play / android auto. Thank you for providing a product that works! Highly recommend from this seller

Don’t like to talk bad, but this was disappointing.
Beware! The installation video wasn’t for the unit I purchased, it was missing a GPS and WiFi antenna which showed in the installation video but wasn’t in the box.. the wiring harness provided plugged in to the factory wiring but as you can see in the picture that the Comand screen wouldn’t come up correctly. I ended up returning and sticking with the OEM setup. If this system had worked correctly then I think it could be a decent set up.

Good Radio, Difficult to Install, Needs better Instructions
The item looks fantastic, the screen is bright and the vents blend in well with the car. Installation is pretty difficult. The actual wiring is not hard, but the fitment is quite difficult to put together in the car. The unit functions great, I wish they would put more instructions for the alternative sound methods as connecting the audio through Bluetooth is much easier than running the wire through the dash. I’ve installed a few radios before so it personally wasn’t as bad for me
