I think this is a great tool that I don't enjoy using but love saving money, by using it. I have two decent size oaks in front and multiple trees in the back. This tool works great for trimming large, high limbs back away from house. Once you get the hang of it, for example it cuts only on the down stroke. I have saved hundreds and it just takes time, patience. If your doing a lot it will wear you down, however it still works. But for the occasion limb trim you should be fine. Everything pictured is exactly what you receive. I have owed this now for about 5 months. Still on the 1st blade. I recommend.

Way better than I expected for the price! With all the pieces assembled it does become a bit unwieldy and does require some strength just to get it into position. Be ready for an upper body workout! The blade is thin but extremely sharp and made short work of the oak branches I needed to cut back. How the extensions hold up long term remains to be seen but even if it breaks tomorrow it was still worth it over the cost of paying someone hundreds of dollars to do the same thing.

This is a well made 26-foot pole pruner set. The included second blade was what set this item apart from the others. The 3-bolt attachment of the blade to the handle looks to be more secure than the 2-bolt system used in other pruners. The poles are a lightweight, sturdy resin material. The connectors at the ends of each section are threaded metal fittings & are well made; both the male and female ends are clean and sufficiently long enough to insure a good solid union. Just a few quality control issue to be aware of: first - there a 7 1-meter poles included, but they are 5 different lengths. The connectors are quality metal, fiitted securely to the ends of each section with 2 rivets, but the are some nasty sharp burrs on the inner side of the connectors - I had to clean them up with a half-round file. Have used the set to cut a dozen or more branches so far; ranging from 1 to 3 inches thick & from 6 to 20 feet high; and am very happy with the results. As sometimes happens on Amazon, you buy something & then within 3 to 4 days the price drops. This is the 2nd Amazon item in 3 weeks that has dropped $10 or more AFTER I've purchased it. Was told previously the Amazon does not do price adjustments. Raise my prime subscription, go into [sub]orbit, but don't give price protection? This does not encourage customer loyalty, but does encourage customers to go directly to the supplier/seller to see if they will offer a better price - and sometimes they do!

Wow is this long! I can now trim branches much higher that other tree trimmers. It's very solid, unlike the telescoping tree timers, which use friction. You can assemble as many sections to get any hieght without loss of pole strength. It is heavy to handle at maximum length, so considerable strength is required to use it. However, this is far safer than a ladder! Blade is sharp and cuts with ease.

What a life saver. I needed something to finish a job on some very tall palm trees. Didn’t want to spend the money on a powered pole saw so took the chance on this. This thing worked like a charm. The pieces screwed together so easily. They stayed screwed together very well while using it. The saw portion is very sharp and cut through the fronds like butter. This pole saw gets insanely tall and is easy to handle cause it’s so light.

This saw has the sharpest blade and came with an extra blade. The poles are very sturdy and lightweight. I had a problem with them coming unscrewed while using them but with a little thread tape the problem was solved. Great product.

This saw works pretty well if you don't need it for tall trees, even though you can extend the pole to a very long length. However, the longer it gets, the more flimsy it gets. It's not the most sturdy of construction. The blade is also very thin and will require a great amount of work to saw through even thin branches. It is so flexible that it bends and oftentimes gets stuck. But again, if you don't need to reach tall branches, this should work just fine. It's nice that it comes with a replacement blade.

It’s a long pole with a sharp curved saw on the end. Of course it’s a bit hard to handle. Wiggly. It’s not like climbing a tree, using a ladder, or hiring a professional. I got this as my brand name cutter wasn’t as long - they don’t make one due to the above issues I’m sure. But this along with the brand name pruner saved me from calling a tree guy. Fairly easily cut 3 inch branches 25 feet up. Should have bought this long ago.

This is a great tool for those high branches. You will need to have strong arms to hold this pruner and have good balance with your arms because it will shift on you. My arms got tired after cutting 2 branches 25 feet high within 5 minutes. Take a rest and go back later to prune some more branches from the tree. It is worth the money to cut the branches down. The professionals will charge big bucks to cut the branches.
