Very bright feel like the light travels far in pitch black. Battery life is great I’m still on the charge from the day it came in the mail! Only used it once but for like 5 hrs off an on look forward to using it a lot more. It’s great for night fishing or any dark exploring u need it for.

If you like to do anything at night with their hands where you need a head torch you most definitely need to invest in this. What I like about it you don't have to go through a series a button pushes to turn the light off it has a motion sensor built into it are you have to do is just wave your hand in front of it to turn it on or off or you can manually said it.

This is a great fishing light. Yes, the spot light is not as strong as some others but lighting up the whole area with a high power LED is actually bad for fishing - it spooks them. The white light is strong enough to get where ur going and the red works fine for u hooking fish, putting on new lures and such. I fished stripers with it last week and still had them jumping right next to me with the red light on. I’ve had mine for just over a year and can say it’s worth every penny.

Great product overall. The settings are great both soft and hard light and very very bright. My boyfriend used it off a huge bridge in our area in saltwater and it worked great could see all the way down. The wide red light is great too it helps not spook the fish with such harsh light. No hands option is also great works really well. Holds a charge for a long time only had to charge it once so far had it for several weeks.

I love the multiple options it comes with. they really help with battery life. fits comfortable on my head.

Like the features of turning it off and on by waving your hand in front of it.

Hand wave feature is awesome

I purchased the Hero Beam to replace a very old Energiser head torch, (I am using a head torch for night fishing) which could barely light up a focused area 10ft away, in pitch black. I was a little concerned on how good this head torch could actually be for the price......The result, absolutely blown away. The focused beam is incredible, as is the wide beam. Red beam spread is excellent and lights up a large area. The cherry on the cake, the motion detection. Switch this on as you get down for the night, when the time comes to fly out of your bivvy (hopefully), get on your rod and just swipe, comes on every time.Great product HeroBeam, thank you!

On and off button is very difficult to get to operate, have to press hard to get them to work and that was off of your head , if you are waring it it took both hands to operate the switch as you had to hold the head torch steady while turning off or on. Once in sensor mode found it kept turning off and on every time you moved your head. Would be a good head torch if it was better made, So returned for refund.

It is a nice looking headlight, but that is about as much as I can say. Sadly after charging it would not switch on and the button seemed faulty. It is a shame I cannot add anything more.

Charged up but couldn’t get white beam to work. My wife somehow did but we don’t know how. Now it works but the light keeps flashing like it’s dropping in & out. Wave function good but how long it will last I don’t know. Probably better for the money available.

I bought this head torch for my night fishing sessions. I got to use it for the first time this week and I am impressed. The torch is bright enough, adjustable tilt on the torch, the PIR motion setting is very handy and I can recharge it from the USB in my van. All round impressive torch.
