My third set of these sprouting time. I’ve tried both the tins and the upside down mason jar method, but prefer the tins. Both relatively simple to master and succeed, however the tins are much more straightForward and provide a dark cover without the fuss of tilting the mason jars with set up and no need to deal with the jar-socks

We prefer using jars to these trays. No scraping needed and smaller footprint on the counter.

Thanks for reading my review!The manufacturing of this item is top notch and the packaging is great! I like the idea of getting your own sprouts at home. Having said that, I may have missed a step because the my greens look more off-yellow than actual greens. I'll need to play more with it or look up tips online, but the actual process of rinsing and all of that is straight forward.

This stainless steel sprouting set has exceeded my expectations. The thick, durable sieves with their fine mesh are ideal for seed sprouting. The stacking design, comprising two sieves, a lid, and a basin, is a space-saving marvel. The included QR code, offering detailed sprouting instructions, and the plastic scraper for root removal are incredibly useful. Its capacity is ample for a family of six. The exceptional quality and thoughtful design make this a must-have for anyone who sprouts seeds at home.

I ordered this because another reviewer mentioned it came with seeds, which would have made it so easy to get started right away. Unfortunately, this does not come with seeds. It’s also way larger than expected, about the width of a large dinner plate - on the upside, this means you get more sprouts…downside is that it’s not very good if you have a small space.Sprouts are always supposed to be started in the dark, then given some light to green up when they get to that stage. Allowing the light/green, brings more rich chlorophyll and nutrients to the sprouts.Overall this is really simple to use. I’m happy with the purchase. Just wish it would have had seeds included and also wish that the size would have been shown in the photos. I love adding sprouts to my daily meals, but purchasing them at the store is so expensive and they never last long - this is a really simple solution which I highly recommend.
