Hidden Gem
Great price for the build quality and size. The fabric used for the wings was better than any Lego wing or sail pieces I’ve ever seen, and Alduin’s head mold is amazingly detailed. I always wished Lego would make sets for Skyrim or Fallout, and I was thoroughly impressed by this Megabloks set.

Great collector focused set
Great Alduin build. Mega's marbled bricks really make him stand out. This is a great set with lots of posing options, the ball joints for the wings have a rubbery coating with lots of friction lending for good, lasting action poses. This set is definitely not intended for younger children as many pieces are able to pop off if you are rough with the model.Really hoping we see more Mega x Bethesda sets. They clearly are putting a lot of love into these and I would love to see what else they can do.

Probably Todd's Fault
Alright, so this thing is not what I'd call "huge," but it certainly is impressive. The wingspan does not disappoint, and since the wings themselves are made of what feels like spandex, they're incredibly easy to furl/unfurl and position however you please (sort of, more on that later.) The build was a pretty enjoyable affair, taking around 3 or so hours, possibly less for those more used to the process than I am, given this is the second "block-based" figure I've constructed in the past decade. The biggest annoyance was that this is a lot of light gray, dark gray, and black pieces, which all sort of look the same in the instruction book. This is the part that I think is the fault of Skyrim, in that while Alduin looks great in figure-form, I never thought of him as being an iconic design, sort of just a big dragon, so if this was on display I'm not sure if anyone is going to be able to pick out this is a Skyrim character and not just some neat dragon figurine. Like I said, that's probably due to the design limitations of a 10+ year old game, but still sort of disappointing. The other thing thing I was confused about was the mounting system, for two reasons. The first is how Alduin mounts, with a peg that goes into his chest to prop him up. This in theory is fine, but either the peg that was sent is too short, or some other reason, but it never went all the way into the figure's hole (shush) to properly secure it, and just didn't feel right. I looked at the directions and everything was correct, but one of his chest-scales is essentially a triangle with the tall side close to the hole, sloping away, and all I had to do was flip the piece 180 degrees, and the peg slid all the way down into the hole and slotted into the fitted piece that held it in place. Not sure why it was designed like this, but not super hard to fix, especially since it being the stomach, nobody is going to see it. The other issue I have is in the base itself, which I think is just too narrow/small. I never had the figure fall over, but it seems to me you could make the base at least as wide as the figure (not even full wingspan,) since its going to take up at least as much space as it is wide anyways. As it stands the base is a few inches thinner than the figure, and just doesn't feel very secure. Final annoyance is super minor, in that the joints are a bit stiff. I do love the amount of articulation this has, but some of the ball joints feel like they'd rather pop out than actually turn and rotate, which makes posing this figure a bit of a harrowing task. Overall for the price I think this is a mostly-great figurine, and an enjoyable build experience, just not something I could call "perfect," so for me its a 4/5 (but really a 4.5/5 if I could.)

Son loved this gift
I gave this to my 22 year old son as a Christmas gift. (He love a the memory of building new toys on Christmas morning) As I suspected he built this Christmas afternoon and was so impressed with the material of the wings and the articulation of the joints and claws.. it was a home run gift.

Tedious but awesome.
Design is great. Looks phenomenal! I especially love the my design and how much articulation the Alduin model has.Unfortunately I lost count of how many times I had to reattach parts that fell off with very little pressure, I just brushed them too much when I was attaching another piece on the other side. The chest was the worst the spikes and everything kept falling off.I don't think I'll be bringing this down from the shelf it's now inhabits.
