A useful instrument.
For a small chart table, on a small boat or cruising dinghy, nothing compares, or competes with a Douglas Protractor. I've owned several; some I've given away; others I've kept safe inside a book (and forgotten which book!). This one is strong and well-made; I have to take the calibration on trust, but it agrees with my Portland Plotter and with my Capt Fields parallel rules. The instructions are in 'Chinglish'; if I didn't already know how to use it they wouldn't help much.
