Christopher Kimball's Milk Street Za'atar Mix

The spice mix is fine, but the container is the worst. Looks great, but almost impossible to open without spilling contents all over. Had to transfer to another container.

Tried the za'atar and it might be the best blend I've ever had ... but as others have reported it's nearly impossible to open the tin without spilling half of it. Took me 10 minutes to pry it open yesterday and I lost about 25% of contents in the process.

I've been meaning to try Za'atar for some time now. When I saw Milk Street's blend, I knew I could n't go far wrong. I've only used little sprinkled on some baba ganoush, but it really brightened things up. Great packaging, too, in a tin with a tight-fitting lid to keep out light & moisture, enemies of all dried spices.
